Since he stopped the binges, I simply leave and wait for the end of the Act and then return and binge it. If you’re not satisfied with something don’t complain about it, change it to where you’re satisfied. Be an adult.

Like me many others. One Piece literally dominates his Patreon. Now most people like myself will not mind paying $5 a month for 2 uploads of 15 episodes each. Most people will however mind paying $3 a month for 4 uploads of 4 episodes each. It’s not for the amount of money, it’s for the amount of development. With 4 episodes (4x a month), it takes 49 uploads, a year pretty much, to finish Wano. With 15 episodes (2x a month) it’s 13 uploads. Which not only is 6 months less, but feels a lot more developed and entertaining to those who watch the reactions. We’re consumers, and just like when you want to enjoy a pizza, you don’t only eat half of it and leave slices for later, you eat the whole thing. If you can make more money + save time + appease all your patrons, ultimately increasing the bond between yourselves and value of your content (will mean you can increase prices over time and they won’t leave) why would you not? Seems like he isn’t in it for the money. Because he doesn’t look for ways to keep his patron on the hook. As such, since I’m not hooked I will gladly wait 6 months and then come back. It already took 3,5 years to watch Wano weekly and it sucked. Thefore I don’t need to watch it in slices again.

2025-03-21 11:23:46 +0000 UTC@ORORA06 Weekly reactions to the newest episodes as they drop, are gonna get a lot more engagement on youtube (and therefore bring people to his patreon) and patreon, than reacting to them months later after the hype already died down will. I've actively seen smaller channels get more views on reactions than bigger channels, because the smaller channel was dropping reaction videos the day episodes released, where as the bigger channel was dropping it days or weeks later. So no, I would not call it a braindead take.

I dont think its smart given that his fanbase or his fans aren't able to enjoy the show like this. I mean one piece is awesome, but not much will develop in 3 episodes unfortunately. Thats why he started off with binges lol. I get he has to try keep his treasure (one piece) as long as possible, but in wano? With the upcoming arcs? Its just gonna suck for us monthly patreon, as itll be months before we get anything great. I hate to say it because I am not hating but this, IS milking. I also understand why. However, will probably unsubscribe at the end of the month and come back in 3 months time, where I will just binge it. As a business model, I dont recomend. As you're losing monthly subs, which is ultimately money. GG tho
