Lancer X Mass Effect
Added 2021-07-20 03:29:50 +0000 UTCThe Artist's Choice pic from June's sketch suggestion poll, it's the cast of Lancer cosplaying as the cast of Mass Effect! Mika as Miranda, Rolf as Garrus, Jake as Shepard, Mattrick as Wrex, and Tawny as Tali.
Since I basically had carte blanche to put whoever I wanted in whichever role, that made things even more fun. Mass Effect 2 was one of my favorite games back when I was in college so this felt quite fulfilling on a personal level. The Mass Effect character designs are a lot more complex with a lot more lines than my own designs, so that presented its own unique challenges. I loved drawing it though!

I have made internet history, for this sketch is my first ever win here on Patreon and it even got me to tuning to Heresy’s Picarto livestreams and see this being made in motion! I hope it was fun doing, despite the challenges it posed, but not only did you have fun with this sketch, you pushed your limits even further by adding 5 characters, not 4! I would’ve been just happy to see our favs Garrus and Tali, but you went beyond the call of duty! For that, I thank you for giving my sketch suggestion a chance!
