Even after disabling, still freezes and game has to be killed after a few load screens.. or less. Without FG it works fantastic, but the performance difference is crazy using FG ez 120fps vs 70-80 :(

Downloaded the new update, love how you made FG auto go off in the menu, you also put all menus. That will come in handy. I was having problems yesterday while trying to go through the inventory. Sometimes it would bug out and black screen, so I can't see my gear. Then I would have to manually disable or press the key bind to disable FG. Now it's a breeze. Thanks! will report back if I run into any bugs.

just had to wait a little i guess... its working now like a charm!!!! i am sock f***ing happy you wont believe! till today i had no idea you could mod frame generation into games! now i feel technical issues and deals with AMD wont hold back the quality and performance of starfield! it absolutly plays as it should now! This is the norm for modders who use patreon, that way their work doesn't get stolen and passed around for free

There's no waiting. You pay the patreon fee, join his discord server after you link your patreon to your discord through the patreon website. Once in Pure Dark DIscord you go to the downloads side and click Starfield DLSS beta, download the file on the middle post in that room and follow the directions.

no, as far as I'm aware, that is not how DLAA would work. It requres a seperate DLL file if I'm not mistaken and would be another box to tick in the overlay. Doubt anything in the menu in starfield would activate DLAA even at 100 res scale

All you need to do is go over to Patreon, settings, select "more", go to connected apps, and link up your discord account to patreon, you'll be automatically added to the discord server

Incredible boost for 4070 ti. I had before 45/50fps in New Atlantis. Now is 85-110 it just doubled my fps with 1440p ultra + 100% res scaling and I don't feel input lag like in some other games. This is insane

ok..no worries...i fixed it... for some reason i had to disable my firewall temporarily... ive auth'd once and now it just works... thanks puredark! this is awesome and starfield is amazingly smooth on HUB recommended quality settings with frame gen 3440x1440 on a 4070ti... roughly 120fps in most situations now! perfect!

Its working flawless with my RTX 4090. I run a 4k 144hz monitor and having a new triple A title run at barely 60fps was driving me crazy. I have a 16core 32thread 5950x CPU which believe it or not gets bottlenecked at 4k sometimes on newer titles. With some online tutorials from hardware unboxed, I only turned down settings where there was no visual impact, but a positive impact to performance. Now I am running a mix of high and ultra, 4k, with DLSS 3 and Frame generation, getting about 120fps-150fps on average. A combination of this mod with smart choices on the settings page has this game optimized and running the way it should have on launch day. Thanks to PureDark when game companies strike deals to exclusively use one tech over the other, we can have a choice as consumers and take advantage of the hardware we paid good hard earned cash for. Great work PureDark, keep it up. I was skeptical on some of your youtube postings, but for sure this works flawlessly. The in game overlay menu is better than most games in game settings.

I get freezes and crashes when travel to different locations, but sometimes even when going through a door like to talk to Sgt. Yuma. There's also weird stencil outlines on the constellations/star cluster when on a planet looking up. Especially if there's a lot of space gas. Not really sure if it's something that can be fixed. Just thought people should be aware.

That's new, did you try uncheck the Disable FG In Menus option? Cuz it fixes some people's issue, but might intruduced some new issue for people who don't have the freezes.

You only need to turn off FG, there's a hotkey, numpad *, but you can change it to what you prefer in the mods/StarfieldUpscaler.ini

This is pure magic! I have a 4090+5900x and playing at 3840x1600 ultrawide. I was getting around 100fps with a mix of ultra/high in most places but took a massive hit in the first main city. I quickly found out I'm CPU bound so went on a binger and decided to just jump ship to AM5...I bought a new motherboard, ram and a 7800x3d. It will be a nice upgrade moving to the x3d chip for performance gains across the board but this DLSS3 mod with frame gen is incredible. I'm now getting 120fps avg in the cities, gameplay is butter. Thank you so much for this!

That's what the Disable FG In Menus option do, if it happens often, bump the Re-eanble FG Interval to 2.0 or 3.0

Hmm my game has crashed three times in the last hour since installing the mod. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but I play on a super ultrawide screen(32:9 ration) so Ive used a hex editor to fix that. Im also using the FOV mod to use 90FOV.

Where do i report bugs? I've encountered one where when you try to read logs from your inventory, the screen is just gray. You have to disable the dlss from reshade to be able to read them.

I recommend turning on FSR2 and turn off dynamic display, then shut down game and then install mod. My game froze up trying to do this with the mod installed. That being said my save game where I left off went from 80fps to 135 fps with this mod.

I'm happy to pay for that! I stood especially at a bad place in the game and had 44-47 FPS there. With the mod I was at 85-88 FPS. Technically, this runs flawlessly with me! Many thanks for the work on this great MOD! This has sweetened a not so good day for me!

Magic! Is there a possibility to target a different .exe than Starfield.exe? Currently steam users have to rename the game to fallout5.exe or something else that is flagged for AutoHDR to work, and the game looks so flat without it nvm, just works now! Do we have to cap our framerate at 60fps for 120Hz screens, or is the existing nvidia menu frameratecap at 116fps ok? If you want a small bug report, I'm on Miatha, and the sun flickers with weridly when FG is activated
