Walter coughing in sauls office before he says " justice be done or the heavens fall"

To your points, here's my adds: Jimmy started life as a bad guy trying to be a good guy (the exact opposite of Walt.) Although he and Kim loved playing harmless pranks for tequila money and such, they never did anything truly nefarious until the Howard scam. Even Jimmy's initial solo pranks on Howard were relatively harmless -- bowling balls and prostitutes at lunch. It was KIM who wanted to do the big Howard scam. Jimmy tried to talk her out of it, tried hard, then she did the iconic bang-bang-finger-gun thing with the blow-blow right after, and Jimmy was all in because he loved her. That scam was Kim's entirely. So Kim was right when she said "we're bad for each other." After that, Jimmy had no one left, no reason to even try to be good, so he went full-tilt Saul. Small note: Did anyone notice that when Kim was ending it, Jimmy wept and said "Just tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it." That was exactly what young Jimmy wept to Chuck back in Cicero when he needed Chuck to get him out of that Chicago-sun-roof thing, which was how he ended up in the HMM mail room, which led to him being a lawyer, which led to everything else. He continued to try to be good throughout, even though he broke rules but for good reasons. If Kim had stayed and made him promise that they'd never scam again, who knows what kind of lawyer/person Jimmy would've become? The implication through both series' is that Gus is gay. His initial partner wasn't just his partner but also his lover, which is why he financed that little town with a fountain dedicated to the man -- the episode called "Dedicado a and-I-forget-the guy's name." So that special wine he was saving for a special occasion wasn't for the end of the Salamancas, but for that night, that was his special occasion, to spend it with this handsome sommelier. Gus had been having a great day, as you guys well pointed out, and what better way to celebrate than with a vintage wine and a handsome man who shares your interest? There was definitely flirting going on between the two of them. But when the sommelier left, Gus returned to analytic Gus and realized that anyone he gets involved in, he's putting their life in danger. That's why he left without even saying goodbye, and that's why Gus, with all his charm and money, was alone all his life.
