going to keep it still to two new episodes a week! these two were delayed because i came down with an illness over the weekend. the goal is release on fridays as often as possible; we haven't exactly gotten into the swing of a normal schedule for recording as we are currently working on finding a new rhythm to our weekly schedule for 2025. for example, because i was sick we haven't recorded new episodes yet, so we most likely do that on friday. kade will be back to editing soon too, which will also help to kick the normal schedule back into place. thanks for watching and for your question!

The creator Peter Gould did say that had Jimmy moved to LA instead of Albuquerque he would've probably thrived in the Hollywood/tv/marketing world there instead of being that same guy but in the law world.
Yeah Eric got it. Gus is angry that, after agreeing to not kill Hector, and since using Gus to launder his money, Mike allowed Nacho to go through with a plan that was intended to kill Hector, which Gus told Mike he wanted to be the one to do.
I think Gus sees this as a sign of disloyalty. But Mike clearly thinks Gus hasn't earned that strong loyalty yet (as he does have it for him in BB) and he was just doing a job.
"Fucking Salamancas" always makes me laugh 😂😂
This episode does show that Mike hasn't yet properly dealt with losing Matty. Not only is he (understandably) angry at someone attention seeking at grief counselling, but Stacey talking about slowly forgetting Matty clearly riled him up.
He was then acting irritably afterwards.
Not only is Jimmy definitely not the type to enjoy a quiet job like that, a role with a lot of empty time gives one a lot of time alone with one's thoughts. I don't think Jimmy wants to be there. So he'll do anything to spice up the work life. If regular people don't wanna buy my phones, seems there's a big demand for would-be criminals to buy them.
I do love the writing. In S3 he sees how he can use the law as a weapon & simultaneously get paid handsomely by criminals for doing so (the community service stunt). And now he realises that he can possibly make his boring job more exciting by marketing to criminals. Always such baby steps for him getting into that Saul role. But they all make sense and interconnect.
He didn't want to take the job, remember. Not because he knew it'd be dull, but because he's in not in a great place mentally. But the mere mention of that by Kim makes him take the job to appear mentally sound. Men will literally become a *criminal* lawyer instead of going therapy😂
Great work, you two (three)! See you next week :D
