2025-08-31 10:01:40 +0000 UTCHey thanks for the heads up. I thought SSE Engine Fixes took care of orphaned scripts (seen that in an old comment in "Simple Orphaned SKSE Co-Save Deleter Script" nexus mod page). Really well understood from your part. Working on it!

2025-08-31 10:01:28 +0000 UTCgetting CTDs on loads on accasion. All pointing to MCM++ and CNO, LocalMap upgrade. In RESaver I have three saved script instances of MCMPlusPlus_ConfigMenu. All three are flagged “OBJECT MISSING!” (i.e., orphaned/unattached). Their ::ModName_var fields are “Local Map Upgrade” (twice) and “Compass Navigation Overhaul.” Two of them are still referenced by SKI_ConfigBase[128] arrays, which just means SkyUI’s manager had them indexed when the save was written. MCM++ stores “menu proxy” objects in the save per-mod. If a proxy becomes orphaned (mod updated/removed or JSON/INI mismatch) and MCM++ tries to iterate it during LoadMenus, it can hit a null pointer and hard-crash—the exact pattern the crash log is showing while MCM++ was reading CNO’s MCM files.
