July and August Plans

Hey. I'm still doing stuff, don't worry about that. If anything the self-imposed pressure is somewhat piling up, so I'm more motivated to finish some milestone than ever.

The smaller July update should be done within at most two weeks. Hopefully it'll be straightforward enough to not require 30 patches like the bigger May one.

(For anyone who wonders about IRL reasons for the 2 week delay, I'll come clean: the company I'm working for is going through a major audit and might even be going under within the next few months. Nothing to do with me technically, but I DID have to schedule a few meetings and hearings about why the hell everything is so completely broken and how it's not my fault. Which takes both time, and the will to do anything vaguely creative in the evenings out of your day. But hey, if they do go bankrupt or sack me that'll mean more time to develop the game, so a win-win(?) )

As a tradeoff for the slight delay, July update won't just have the small upper slum expansion as I planned, but also expansion of hot springs resort content and farmer gal's storyline, which were things I originally planned to space out way into updates 2 and 3.

As for August, that will be a ,,proper" update comparable to the May one. I've already finished all the exteriors for it, though the dungeons and indoors content still has to be polished. It will also feature one mechanic that could be a major factor in the future if it goes well, but it's too early to say now. I'll reveal more when it's closer to the release date.
