The Grotto of Crystals:

Skilled miners were here, digging their way through the rock in search of the precious luminescent crystal that can be found in these mountains. Happy over every find, they worked their way through this rock for years. The only drawback was that workers kept kept complaining about headaches and hallucinations. They blamed the water and stayed away from it.
One day, a digger's pickaxe struck a cavity. What was behind this wall should change their short lifes forever. The miners had come across the legendary Krstall Grotto, which was supposed to be hidden in this area. The miners celebrated and immediately began mining. A week later the mine was empty. There was no longer any workers to be found.

Does it have something to do with the hole in which the two streams drain? Has something been woken up?

Or does the influence of the magic crystals, which was always exercised only slightly, now fully develop its effect?

Maybe both are true. And maybe there is something in this place that guards the crystal grotto. Or is it the other way around and in reality the crystals are protecting something?
