Hope you've been doing great! Me? Uh, uhm, yeah, rough weekend!!
Let me explain... I got the bad news of a medical emergency within my family, and I have had to travel elsewhere in the country to provide support and such. It's been very sudden, and to be honest, I think I will have to ask you guys for your patience and understanding in this. I will take this week and the following week off from work to focus on the matter, and then return to you as usual after that.
I am very sorry about this, but I also thank you always for supporting me and allowing me to have such a flexible work balance so that I can be with my family in cases like this. Take care, AND I MEAN IT!!
