general update + funny sound design

the winner of the protagonist naming poll is Astrid!!! which i think is very cute and very on point 4 our spicy blue elf girl 💖 suggested by bman1621, thank u bman1621 ur wisdom never fails 2 enhance our heinous cartoon 

in other news ive been trying a fun strategy of jumping straight into sound design using goofy temporary music and temp voice lines thru uberduck.ai and i think its doing a great job of setting the insane tone for our short ahahahha

the uberduck isnt nearly as crisp and clear as the 15.ai voice acting sadly but ill throw subtitles onto the animatic so that the dialogue makes sense 

(special points 4 who correctly guesses which character voices i chose 2 voice our protagonists)

unfortunately its going 2 be a similar stage to the screenwriting, where showing all of my working isnt going to be super interesting but ill share a clip or two that seem funny 2 as i go along. on the bright side ill be working on a spicy animation test while im going along!! ✨big titty animation content wooooooo✨

(ill be revisiting the style as i do that too,, the rigs were feeling a little bit too crisp and clean but i want the style to be more chaotic and fun)

TRANSCRIPT:

MH: (amazing ai laugh) yOU HAVE A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT THE REAL WORLD ELF Girl.... men touch their peniss like that all the time...

P: disgusting

MH: You wait Here... (lifts spikey awful chains) ill capture that gerblin no problem......

P: wait- no need, ill catch a spell of sealing on him! he wont be able to run away or do us harm until the spell is lifted....

(she casts a big spell that poofs a metal collar onto the imp)
(very fast footsteps as the Monster Hunter approaches off screen)
(MH runs up and grabs the imp and holds him in the air)

MH: WE CAUGHT A GERBLIN

(later at camp site imp continues 2 jerk it out like a little king)

P: so is he just going to... keep doing that forever??

MH: i have no idea... never seen one of these before.............. its creeping me out tho.... you watch the creature im going to go take a piss....
