Kaiju Heart Ch 21: A Cities Ruin, A Brothers End!

Flariona's roar shook the very air, echoing across the ruins of the city as she lunged at the towering steel figure. Her body, massive and powerful, crashed through buildings as though they were made of paper, her limbs knocking aside skyscrapers, sending debris cascading to the ground like boulders. Glass shattered, steel beams twisted and snapped, and flames erupted wherever her blue fire touched.

The steel giant, equally as tall as Flariona, moved with mechanical precision. Each step it took crumbled the ground beneath it, and the sounds of gears grinding and engines roaring filled the air as it raised its massive arm to counter her assault. A barrage of missiles flew from its shoulder, striking her chest and exploding on impact. The force sent her stumbling back, but she roared in defiance, her black scales smoking, but still intact.

"Damn you!" Flariona snarled, her eyes glowing brighter with blue fire. She took a deep breath, flames crackling in her throat before she unleashed a massive blast of blue fire toward the steel warrior. The flames licked across its body, turning the air around it into a scorching inferno. But the machine pushed through the flames, its metal armor glowing red-hot, but still standing.

As Flariona's flame flickered and sputtered, she charged forward again, her feet crushing entire blocks beneath her. Streets, vehicles, and any unfortunate humans in her path were obliterated underfoot, reduced to nothing but pulp. She didn't even glance at the tiny lives she was ending; her only focus was the steel warrior, this human creation that dared to challenge her.

The giant machine raised its other arm, slamming a massive fist into her side. The blow sent her crashing into what remained of the city's skyline. Entire city blocks were flattened as she rolled across the ground, her massive form leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. Flames erupted from her body, igniting everything around her as her fury grew hotter and hotter.

But she wasn't finished. Not yet.

With a growl that made the ground tremble, Flariona rose to her feet, her breath ragged, but her eyes burning with hatred. The city around them was almost completely in ruins now, only smoldering wreckage remained. Her body heaved with each breath, her skin blackened and smoking from the battle.

She stared down the steel giant, her mind consumed by one thing-destruction.

"That's it," she muttered through gritted teeth, her anger reaching a boiling point. Her blue flames began to flare wildly, growing brighter and hotter with each passing second. Her body began to shift, her white skin slowly being overtaken by thick, black scales that glistened in the glow of the fire. Her muscles bulged, her form becoming more beast-like, more monstrous, as her transformation took hold.

Her claws extended, her mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth, and her eyes burned with an unnatural blue glow. She snarled, low and guttural, as the final remnants of her human form faded away. Now, she stood as the true Empress of the Blue Fire, ruler of the Blue Flames Mountains—a Kaju of unimaginable power.

"I will kill you," she growled, her voice distorted, monstrous, and filled with rage. She lowered herself, her black-scaled body coiled like a predator ready to strike. Her gaze locked onto the steel soldier, and with a roar that seemed to split the heavens, she charged.

The ground quaked as her massive form hurtled toward the steel warrior. Her flames, now brighter and more intense than ever, engulfed everything in her path, turning what little remained of the city into smoldering ash.

Buildings crumbled as her body collided with the machine, the impact shaking the very foundation of the earth. This was it-Flariona in her true form, unleashed, unstoppable, and hell-bent on destroying everything in her path.

Eli clutched his little brother, Theo, tightly in his arms as the world crumbled around them. Rubble from shattered buildings fell like rain, and waves of blue fire ripped through the streets, turning everything they touched into molten ruins. The sky, once clear, was now choked with thick black smoke, blotting out the sun and making it hard to breathe. Each breath Eli took burned his lungs, but he kept moving, weaving through the wreckage of what had once been a city.

The ground beneath his feet was cracked, craters the size of football fields marking where massive Kaiju had left their footprints. Scattered among the destruction were bodies, unrecognizable now—crushed, burned, twisted into shapes that no longer resembled human life. Eli kept his eyes forward, refusing to look down for too long, knowing that any moment of hesitation could mean the end for both of them.

It had been years since humanity had seen a Kaiju. Most people, Eli included, believed they were gone, defeated and buried in some far-off place deep beneath the earth. Yet here he was, in the midst of what could only be described as hell. In a single day, he had seen four of these monstrous creatures tear the world apart.

But nothing compared to her.

Eli glanced upward through the haze of smoke, his eyes locking onto the enormous figure looming above the city. She stood taller than anything he had ever seen, her form towering over even the tallest skyscrapers, her black-scaled body casting a shadow that swallowed everything beneath her. Flariona. That was the name he had heard the soldiers scream as they fired uselessly at her.

"She was beautiful," he thought, almost in disbelief. Her long, jet-black hair cascaded down her back, her eyes burning a bright, eerie blue, like two embers glowing in the dark. Her body—massive and athletic—was unlike the other Kaiju he had seen. Her black scales glistened in the fiery light of the destruction she had caused, shimmering as they caught the sun when it peeked through the thick smoke. Her breasts, massive yet perfectly shaped, swayed slightly as she moved, while her abdomen, chiseled and powerful, rippled with muscle.

She was a goddess of destruction. The most human Kaiju he had ever seen, yet there was no doubt in his mind that she was a monster.

"Brother, I'm scared," Theo whimpered from Eli's arms, his small voice trembling with fear.

Eli knelt down, setting his brother on his feet but still holding onto him. He could see the tears welling in Theo's eyes, could feel his little body shaking. "I know, Theo, I know," Eli said, trying to keep his voice steady. "But we're going to make it, okay? Just keep moving with me, we'll find a shelter. We'll be safe."

But even as he said the words, doubt gnawed at his heart. Most of the shelters had been crushed or burned, swallowed up by the chaos. Still, he had to hope. For Theo's sake, he had to believe they'd find safety somewhere.

Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Eli saw something massive moving through the smoke to the north. His heart skipped a beat as the steel giant came into view. It was enormous, towering over the ruined city.

"I—is that the Titanbuster?" he asked aloud, his voice filled with awe. He had only heard rumors about the massive robot, but here it was, walking straight into the heart of the destruction.

The ground quaked beneath them as the Titanbuster engaged Flariona. Eli watched in disbelief as the two giants collided. The impact of their clash sent shockwaves through the air, crumbling what little remained of the city. The sound of steel against scales was deafening, and each movement from the colossal beings sent buildings crashing to the ground. Flariona roared, blue flames erupting from her mouth as she lashed out at the Titanbuster, the fire scorching everything in its path, incinerating what was left of the streets.

Theo clung to Eli as they tried to move, but the ground was shaking so violently that every step felt like they were walking on quicksand. Suddenly, the earth beneath them gave way, and they both stumbled. Before Eli could react, a massive boulder fell between them, separating him from Theo.

"No! Theo!" Eli screamed, reaching out for his brother, but the stone wall that had formed between them was too high, too thick.

Eli's heart pounded in his chest as he scrambled to find a way around the boulder. "Theo! Hang on, I'm coming!" His voice cracked with desperation, but the ground continued to shake as the battle between Flariona and the Titanbuster raged on.

And then, as Eli turned the corner, his breath caught in his throat. Time seemed to slow down as Flariona's massive foot, shimmering with black scales and wreathed in blue flames, lifted high above the city.

"No..." Eli whispered, his body frozen in horror.

The enormous foot came crashing down. He saw Theo look up in terror, his small figure completely dwarfed by the Kaiju's sheer size. In an instant, his little brother was gone, buried beneath her flesh, lost in the destruction.

"NO!!!" Eli's scream echoed through the rubble, but it was too late.
