Wanderer Ch 13: The Nipple That Ended It All

He knew very little about this race of bronze aliens, and honestly, he only wanted to go home. But that wasn't going to happen, not because he was a prisoner, but because of the monsters of deep space, the monsters that were apparently after his life. These people would protect him from that monster, that Wanderer, but that protection would apparently come with a price.

Jack looked over at the one called Exe Borlag. He stood in front of the troops, waiting for the mechanical gates to open, for the spacecraft, after days of travel, had finally landed on the orange planet of Krugar. Finally, they were home.

Jack felt his heart skip a beat as the gates slowly began to open. He was about to set foot on an alien planet, billions and billions of miles away from his own home.
"Jacky Hartson..."
Jack turned and looked over at one of the alien soldiers that stood beside him.
"Please wear this," the Krugar soldier said as he extended his hand, revealing a small metal device that glowed with orange light.
"What is it?"
"This device we call a €¥£€£¥#*|>."
"A what?" Jack said, confused by the myriad of sounds he had heard.
"Oh, forgive me. The device around your neck acts as a translator for our words, but the device is limited," the soldier explained. "Some of our terminology will not be translated because there is no word in your own races vocabulary that is similar."
"Uh, okay..."
"Well, this device will make it easier for your body to withstand our planet's heavy environment."
Jack leaned forward to get a closer look at the device. "Oh, will it?"
"Yes, it will create a strong invisible field that will protect you."
Jack reached forward and grabbed the device from the soldier's hand. It felt heavy as he brought it up to his face to examine it.
"Put it on your wrist," the soldier explained.
Jack did as he was told and placed the device on his wrist. As he did, the device began to wrap around his wrist like a metal band.

"Whoa," Jack said as he watched the device glow and an orange bubble spread to cover his entire body, creating a ball of orange light. Soon, the ball began to shrink until the field was only a few inches away from his skin, before finally disappearing.
"Wow, uh, thanks, uh..."
"My name is Ko Jaro."
"Thanks, Ko," Jack said with a smile.
As the massive gates finally opened, Jack was greeted by a breathtaking view of Krugar. The sky was a deep orange, with twin suns casting long shadows across the alien landscape. Towering structures of bronze and silver dotted the horizon, and various alien creatures moved about, going about their daily lives. The air was thick and heavy, but the device around his wrist made it breathable.
Exe Borlag stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. "Welcome to Krugar, Jacky Hartson.

Thalassa, the massive Wanderer, gazed at her sister Eclipsa with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
Eclipsa's eyes sparkled with excitement as she held a silver planet in her hand, her fingers digging deep into its crust.
She held back her strength as the planet's very blood began to flow around her appendages.

"Caught you!" Eclipsa shouted with joy as she hugged Thalassa from behind, her free hand lowering Thalassa's top within seconds. "Let me show you how I spend my time."
Eclipsa, with a smirk, began to grind the planet into Thalassa's nipple.
"What are you..." Thalassa moaned loudly, drool falling from her lips, thick enough to fill entire lakes and drown small towns. The sound of her voice sent spatial ruptures out for miles, destined to destroy small moons and planets hundreds of years from now, worlds with their own civilizations that would be brought into ruin by Thalassa without her knowing.
Thalassa's cheeks turned red and her eyes closed in a mixture of pleasure and frustration. She whipped her head back and asked her sister to stop.
"Just let go and have fun," Eclipsa whispered insistently as she continued.
"Stop," Thalassa repeated more forcefully, but Eclipsa refused to listen.
With a sudden burst of determination, Thalassa brought her head back quickly and headbutted her older sister. "I said stop!"
Eclipsa held her head as she released her grip on Thalassa. "Damn little sister, did you have to hit me that hard?"
"I told you to stop." Thalassa said, rubbing the planetary dust from her nipple. "The people are dead, so let's hurry up and go."

"Fine, fine, let's go get your little spacecraft." Eclipsa said, crossing her arms.
As the two sisters drifted away from the silver planet, its surface now marred and lifeless, Thalassa felt a sense of relief mixed with lingering anger. She hoped that their next actions would be more focused on their mission and less on Eclipsa's whims.

As Jack walked through the kingdom of Krugar, he couldn't help but marvel at the alien architecture. The buildings were made of a gleaming bronze-like material that seemed to shimmer and pulse with an inner light. They had an almost organic quality, like giant metallic slimes frozen in mid-motion. Above him, flying crafts zoomed by with roaring fire engines, leaving trails of blue flames in their wake. The air was thick with the sounds and smells of a bustling alien city.
The Krugar people themselves were just as fascinating. Their skin varied in shades of orange and red, adorned with intricate patterns that seemed to shift and change with their movements. They wore clothes made from strange fabrics that caught the light in mesmerizing ways. As Jack passed by, many of them stopped to stare at him, their eyes filled with curiosity and perhaps a hint of suspicion.
Jack turned to Exe Borlag, who was walking beside him. "Where are we going?" he asked.
"We are heading to the royal capital," Exe Borlag replied solemnly.
"Oh great," Jack muttered under his breath, feeling a mix of apprehension and resignation about what lay ahead.
