Naruto: Copy System#627+628: Heading to Dressrosa, Isn’t a Sister Meant for Teasing? Copying the Hobby-Hobby Fruit!

Shirahoshi took a few steps with Robin before suddenly stopping.

“Sister Robin, I’m sorry, but I can’t go play with you right now. I came to find Shin-sama.” Shirahoshi said apologetically to Robin.

“You’re looking for Shin right now?” Robin paused, then a hint of urgency entered her voice. “Ah, Shirahoshi, Shin is... busy with something at the moment. It’s probably best not to disturb him.”

“Busy? Is there anything I can do to help?” Shirahoshi asked eagerly.

“This is something you can’t help with, Shirahoshi.” Robin’s face flushed slightly. “Not disturbing him is the greatest help you can give.”

Even though Robin had left early, she had a pretty good idea of what Shin and Hancock were up to. You didn’t need to be a genius to figure it out.

“Oh...” Shirahoshi, though curious, took Robin’s words to heart. If she said not to disturb him, then she wouldn’t.

————

Half a month passed in a flash.

Shin, who had been lingering on Amazon Lily, finally set sail again, leading the Kuja Pirates away from the island.

“Thank you, Captain,” Monet said to Shin, her voice filled with gratitude.

She had been missing her younger sister and had asked Shin to take her to see Sugar.

He had agreed. Honestly, he’d been on Amazon Lily for long enough. There was no news from the seas—nothing about Blackbeard, nothing about Fire Fist Ace. Shin was getting bored.

Monet’s sister was Sugar, who was currently on Dressrosa. And so, Dressrosa was their new destination.

Besides, the Dressrosa from the original story was a pretty nice place.

A perfect spot for a vacation!

Dressrosa was in the New World, which meant they had to head there first. Conveniently, Shirahoshi, who had been away from home for a while, was also eager to visit Fish-Man Island and see her father.

“We just left, and we’re already being tailed.” Shin’s gaze drifted to a ship in the far distance. It looked like an ordinary vessel, but there was no fooling him.

It was a Marine ship, and they were monitoring the Kuja Pirates.

They were smart enough to keep their distance while following the crew around. Since they weren’t causing him any trouble, Shin decided to be merciful and let them be.

“They’re so blatant about it. How come the Marines aren’t trying to arrest you?” Hina asked, shooting Shin a sideways glance.

“Heh, if they came to arrest me, they’d be coming for you too. You want to get captured again?”

Shin chuckled.

Whatever the truth was, Hina was officially a member of the Kuja Pirates now.

“Hmph. Hina is not pleased.” She snorted and walked off in a huff.

Shin paid her no mind, his eyes fixed on the distant waves. The sea breeze was strong today.

The Pluton sped across the sea, reaching the Sabaody Archipelago in no time. After restocking their supplies, they prepared to head for Fish-Man Island.

“Sabaody seems a lot calmer than it used to be,” Shin remarked.

“That’s probably because we visit so often,” Olvia said with a light laugh.

Their frequent visits had a civilizing effect on the pirates there. Any who didn’t play by the rules and caused trouble for the Kuja Pirates ended up getting wiped out by Shin.

It had made the rest of them much more behaved.

————

They arrived at Fish-Man Island, but after a short stay, they departed, heading for Dressrosa.

“Doflamingo probably knows we’re coming,” Shin said.

“Mm. We didn’t send word, but he’s definitely gotten the intel by now,” Olvia agreed.

The route they were on led straight to Dressrosa. Doflamingo’s intelligence network was too good for him not to know.

Sure enough, when they arrived at Dressrosa, Doflamingo was waiting to welcome them.

Whatever he really thought about Shin, he didn't show any disrespect. Even with Kaido backing him now, he knew better than to anger Shin.

Kaido would never start a war with Shin Uzumaki over him.

Besides, even if Kaido did fight him, he’d have to actually be able to win. And everyone knew Kaido didn’t have a chance.

“Fuffuffuffu! Captain Shin, what brings you to Dressrosa? Are there any instructions for me??” Doflamingo asked, his signature unsettling laugh echoing.

Shin just shot him a flat look.

“Doflamingo, go get Sugar for me.”

The commanding tone clearly pissed Doflamingo off, but he forced it down.

“May I ask what business you have with Sugar?” Doflamingo asked, his gaze flickering to Monet.

The moment he saw her, his expression soured. He’d already figured it out. The only reason Shin would be looking for Sugar was because of Monet.

She was Sugar’s older sister.

“Do you have the right to ask questions here?” Kalifa said coolly.

“...” Doflamingo’s brow furrowed as he stared at her.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

An indescribable, kingly pressure slammed down on Doflamingo, forcing him to his knees before he could even speak.

“Kalifa’s right. Do you have the right to question me?” Shin’s expression was calm, but his voice sent a chill through Doflamingo’s heart. “Get Sugar. Now. Don’t make me angry.”

Doflamingo's face burned with humiliation, but he kept his mouth shut. He obediently went to fetch Sugar.

Sugar looked like she was only ten years old, but in reality, she was much older.

She had eaten the Hobby-Hobby Fruit over a decade ago, and her body had been frozen at that age ever since. It was a side effect of the fruit—the user’s body was locked at the age they ate it.

Of course, for Sugar, who was just a child at the time, it was a curse.

But for a young woman in her prime, the Hobby-Hobby Fruit would be priceless. Not only her age but also her mind was stuck at ten, making her a true legal loli.

Not that Shin had any interest in that. He wasn't a creep.

“Big Sis! You’re finally back!” Sugar cried, throwing herself into Monet’s arms and bursting into tears.

“Sugar, don’t cry. This time, I’m taking you with me,” Monet said, having already gotten Shin’s permission.

<><><><><><><><>

Sugar might have the appearance and mind of a little girl, but she was deceptively powerful.

In the original story, she almost took out the entire Straw Hat crew. If Usopp hadn’t scared her into fainting at the last second, Luffy and the others would have been finished.

So yeah, Sugar was a force to be reckoned with. Even a monster like Kaido would be turned into a toy if she managed to touch him.

"System, copy the Hobby-Hobby Fruit’s ability."

Shin mentally commanded. It had been over a decade since the system last gave him a mission, but he hadn’t forgotten it. Without it, he never would have reached this level.

[Consuming one Divine Replication Card. Hobby-Hobby Fruit successfully replicated.]

The system’s mechanical voice chimed in his head. Besides the yearly gift card, it was a sound he rarely heard.

With the Hobby-Hobby Fruit’s ability now his, Shin needed a test subject. His eyes instinctively landed on Doflamingo.

'Hmm, Doflamingo would make a perfect test subject... but then again, he's still making me money. Better not...'

“...” Doflamingo felt a sudden chill, a sense of deep unease.

Shin abandoned the idea. After all, he was getting half of all the money Doflamingo made.

Without lifting a finger, Shin was raking in half the profits that Doflamingo worked his ass off to earn.

“Alright, let’s go—” Shin said, glancing at Doflamingo before leading Hancock and the others away.

Of course, they didn’t leave Dressrosa. He wanted to look around for a bit.

Seeing Shin’s calm expression, Doflamingo started to panic. He had heard Monet’s words.

Was he really going to let Shin take Sugar? She was crucial to his operations here. The original royal family of Dressrosa and their soldiers had all been turned into toys, controlled by Sugar to serve the Donquixote Family.

If Sugar left, who would control them?

The Hobby-Hobby Fruit’s power couldn’t possibly work over an infinite distance, right?

But looking at Shin, Doflamingo ultimately kept his mouth shut.

What if Shin decided to kill him? He knew he wasn't that valuable in Shin's eyes.

He was smart enough to know that much. He had ambition, but he wasn’t about to let it get him killed.

So he just watched them leave.

Shin, in turn, was impressed by his intelligence. If Doflamingo had tried to stop him, he would have been turned into a toy on the spot.

“Sugar.”

Shin walked over to the girl, who didn't seem at all afraid of him. He smiled. “From now on, you’re part of my crew. You’ll listen to me, understand?”

Sugar glanced at her sister, who gave her a subtle nod. Sugar then nodded at Shin.

She might be mischievous, but with Monet around, Shin wasn’t worried about her causing trouble. Besides, her own combat ability was pathetic. Even with an overpowered Devil Fruit, she couldn’t do much with it.

The Hobby-Hobby Fruit was only dangerous in the hands of a master. If you couldn’t even touch your opponent, how were you going to turn them into a toy?

“And one more thing,” Shin said. “On my ship, you don’t turn people into toys. If you do, I’ll turn you into a toy. Like this.”

As he spoke, he tapped Sugar, and she instantly transformed into a small teddy bear. She could still speak and think, but her body was now completely under his control.

“You can turn people into toys too??” Sugar’s voice came out, muffled by the fabric.

“Of course. If you don’t behave, this is what will happen to you,” Shin threatened.

With the mind of a ten-year-old, Sugar was easily scared. She started trembling.

“I’ll be good! I promise!” she squeaked.

“Don’t bully my sister,” Monet said, looking at Shin with annoyance.

“Oh? How about I turn you into a toy instead? A little snow-woman doll, maybe?” Shin said with a grin, reaching for her.

Monet’s eyes widened in fear.

“No, wait! If you have to bully someone, just bully my sister! Leave me out of it!” she yelped.

“Are you really her sister?” Shin asked, completely deadpan. It seemed Monet was more interested in messing with her own sibling.

He then released his power, and Sugar returned to her normal form.

“Hmph.” Sugar glared, not at Shin, but at Monet. She was pissed that her own sister had sold her out so quickly.

Monet just smiled. Isn’t that what little sisters are for? Besides, she knew Shin wouldn’t actually hurt Sugar. He was just scaring her. And she knew exactly how to handle Sugar. After buying her some grapes, Sugar’s anger vanished.

————

“See? So easy to deal with,” Monet said with a light laugh.

“Sugar’s ability is seriously dangerous,” Robin remarked. “If you didn’t know about it, you could easily get caught.”

In the original story, Robin had fallen victim to it. Her Devil Fruit ability made her particularly vulnerable.

“Yeah, you can’t underestimate any Devil Fruit user,” Olvia added cautiously.

Everyone said Logia fruits were the strongest, but when it came to weird, unpredictable powers, Paramecia types were in a league of their own.

Of course, the Hobby-Hobby Fruit had its own counter: the Dark-Dark Fruit, the bane of all Devil Fruit users.

“Let’s go,” Shin said, looking toward the city. “Let’s see how well Doflamingo has been running this place.”

He knew that as soon as he left with Sugar, all the toys in Dressrosa would likely turn back into people. He wondered how Doflamingo would handle that mess.

Then again, Doflamingo’s probably prepared for it. It shouldn’t be too hard for him to suppress them.
