Tony Dalton's character is Jacques Duquesne also known as Swordsman. The lawyer who has the papers is Kirsten Mcduffie played by Nikki M. James. Wolverine is actually 5' 3 feet tall in the comics. Hugh Jackman is 6' 2 feet tall. At the end, I don't think the other people at the bar know that Matt is Daredevil except Cherry which he discovered at the beginning of this series. There is a story of why Marvel had to start over for Daredevil: Born Again production. By late September 2023, while production was on hold due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, Marvel Studios decided to overhaul the series with a new creative direction. Filming for six episodes was largely completed by then. Marvel Studios had reviewed that footage and decided Born Again wasn't working. The original plan was to be disconnected from the Netflix series and Daredevil: Born Again was initially envisioned as a more of a soft reboot or a new beginning, potentially with the same actors but not necessarily a direct sequel to the Netflix series. But that changed until the creative overhaul. Marvel Studios later decided to make it a direct continuation of the original show, connecting it to the MCU. According to Collider, it was far from an easy undertaking though, requiring a massive creative overhaul in the middle of the process to bring Matt Murdock's return more in line with the violent, gritty world of the Netflix series. Under writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman, the direction the show was going, between the higher episode count and procedural format, wasn't to the liking of higher-ups and drew concerns from stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, eventually leading The Punisher executive producer Dario Scardapane to take the reins as showrunner. Scardapande and fellow executive producer Sana Amanat have shared just how much changed during their tenure. The pair spoke to Collider's Steve Weintraub about Born Again, during which they revealed that, despite the complete shift in the story's direction and tone, "Quite a bit" survived from Ord and Corman's original vision. Scardapane was particularly impressed with the six episodes that had already been filmed before the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes shut everything down. However, none of them exactly fit with the revamped goal of leaning toward the Netflix series, a problem that especially needed to be addressed at the beginning of the season. He explained: "Quite a bit lived. The thing is, and I think Sana can speak to this, they had that time during the strike to take a look at what they had, and those six episodes were super solid — I saw them way later. They were super solid, but the issue was bringing up the themes and feelings that we loved from the old show and context. I'll say that over and over again. That first episode is the one that takes us into the run, and we needed to have those first 15 minutes of that first episode to set the stage." Though a lot was kept, the changes were still hefty, according to Scardapane. "What we ended up doing was the amount of additional material was essentially three episodes worth, and then quite a bit of interstitial material inside the body of the middle six." Everything created helped contribute to the new tone that mirrored the grit of the original. The action was a big focus in the modifications — the series brought in original Daredevil stunt coordinator Philip Silvera — as was the relationship between Murdock and his longtime foe Fisk. "I feel like it was mostly enhancement, and it was really bringing up the stuff that we loved a little more — Fisk and Matt, a little more action, pathos. The show was there. It wanted to be something; we just had to do some things to draw that out." While the rebuilt team under Scardapane is responsible for reworking the series, Amanat gives a lot of credit to Corman and Ord for showing them what strings to pull when connecting Born Again to its Netflix counterpart. Their presence was still felt in the writers' room and the series' depiction of New York, as she explained: "And again, credit to Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Those writers, some of which stayed on with us in this new writers’ room, really gave us, also, a naturalistic and real-world New York, as well, and that's really what we wanted to build upon. But yes, like Dario said, it was elements where we wanted to pull on threads. We wanted to make it a bit darker and more intense and offer that connective tissue that just wasn't quite there before, but that connective tissue to the previous show, of course, with our returning characters and telling the drama of who they are, almost seven to eight to 10 years later. We don't know the exact timeline around that." I also heard from Rob Liefeld (creator of Deadpool comics) claimed that the original idea for Daredevil: Born Again series was going to be a comedy series which I don't know if this is true or not. This series is really good and I'm so glad Marvel brought Charlie Cox to reprise his role as Daredevil and he's the best Daredevil. 👍 Deadpool: That's right! Disney brought him back! They're going to make him do this until he's 90!

He also confirmed that Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand/Iron Fist are going to return to the MCU in the future. Ever since Matt said, "We need an army", it could be a tease that the Defenders are returning. There are rumors from The Cosmic Circus saying that they'll return for 2nd season of Daredevil: Born Again. Storm, I think you need to react to Iron Fist Season 2, The Punisher Season 2, and Jessica Jones Season 3 to learn about other new characters before watching Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 to avoid possible spoiler references. My suggestion: put on new Marvel content reactions like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and MCU's Ironheart series (which will premiere on June 24) on hold and watch the other Marvel Netflix series first for the preparation of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 which will premiere on March next year.
