(TOM) That is the best opening ever and it sends a really strong message that I think a lot of people didn't get the connection since it is not realized until later in the movie what had happened to Lilo's parents.

2021-06-11 02:00:31 +0000 UTCThe reason Lilo feeds pudge the fish a peanut butter sandwitch is because she believes he controls the weather. Her parents died in a car accident when it was bad weahter. By doing this she hopes he wont get angry and something like that wont happen again. I think its a really good lessons that even though you think someone is doing something weird, it usually has a reason. So dont just judge. Great movie, one of the best Disney movies! :D
