Also, another film and its sequel that would be cool to you to react to is The Hustler (1961) and The Color of Money (1986) starring Paul Newman as Fast Eddie Felson, which is his academy award winning film. I know a lot of people that have just watched The Color of Money but not The Hustler, but if you watch The Hustler first you get a new feel for the Color of Money because every decision Eddie makes in the sequel is based on his experience from the previous film and The Color of Money becomes an even more emotional film when you watch it back to back. Also, Martin Scorsese directed the sequel.

His performance in that is one of his best performances of his career. It is currently into Season 3 right now. It is a great crime dramedy and the first time in his career he is playing a gangster. Also each season gets better and better. Also, in Season 3 have both Frank Grillo (who was also in Season 2) and Robert Patrick from Peacemaker Season 2 as well.
