apple IOS app store subscriptions
Added 2024-08-12 23:31:04 +0000 UTChi! Patreon just notified me about an upcoming change, that will only affect subscriptions made on apple IOS app store (so if that's not your case, nothing to see here, you're all good!). i thought it would be important to address it:
starting November/2024, apple will charge additional fees to new subscriptions pledged using such devices.
this will not affect current subscriptions. so as long as you don't cancel your subscription, you won't be charged new fees.
if you cancel your subscription and start a new one using apple IOS app store after November, you'll be charged the new fees.
prices on the web and the Android app will remain completely unaffected.

mann, i always hated their bulshittery, once again rip apple users 😭 but as long as they use the Web patreon site to pledge instead of mobile it should be fine
