Unfortunately I'd have to agree. First episode was great but i didn't like episode 2. The elusive samurai is another one to consider. One the best animated episodes I've seen. Only 1 episode for that right now, so we'll see how that goes

Kaiju no 8 is one of my favorites from last season, so no complaints from me no matter what you choose Edit: I'll stick with my first choice here and say kaiju no 8. Season 2 has also been announced for this next year I believe, so that's another plus

Also, as for the time skip, if my memory serves, I want to say it was about 3 years, but it's been half a decade since I read the early chapters so don't quote me on that.

Whatever you decide to do with the rest of the show I personally couldn't care any less.

Oh I also pre-watch episode 1 before the reaction Here we go. Man the blond guy. I’m sorry this archetype seem to be popular in anime but I hate those character so annoying. Losing them saying stuff like when I’m king I’ll make ger bbq in the kitchen all day long. Don’t blame on other your own weaknesses. Sorry for the rant but I get tigger by those characters. He’s stupid in the beginning to loan money he can’t afford. I have no pity for him. Now that you mention it I can see the resemblance with Baam. When I first heard the rules my thought is the best strategy is just to wait here the whole 30 minutes and everyone passes. But this is my first time watching the anime so I don’t know how aggressive vs strategic people usually are in this world. That speech to the little girl annoyed me even more. Like he should look at himself before talking. He’s clearly outclassed here. He’s the one being carried by others. If he really wants to climb he should do everything he can to become stronger and not just go in there and think it will work out this time. After the episode Well I quite like Baam. Not quite sure about the other character I guess I have to get along with the blond guy. His type tends to stick around a long time. I’m neutral about everyone else. I hope we meet more interesting character or the one we met already will end up more interesting. Yes I like this Baam. And sorry I can’t help you with the pronunciation. It’s Baam. 😁 it’s a joke I have no idea how to pronounce it One thing I want to say is I didn’t watch season 1 only recap and I’m not sure if those recap are anime only or have more information that wasn’t revealed in the anime. So there are some discussions I cannot go into since I don’t know if they are spoilers or not. If I was a lone shark organisation I would have people that can access multiple levels. It's so stupid to loan money to people that can escape to higher levels unreachable to you. Well I guess I can say what I heard is season 1 is more of an intro prequel. Season 2 is where the real shit happens. You can already see with an upgraded Baam. About anime this Season. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest seems popular but I haven’t watch the earlier Fairy Tail. I may try to watch other seasonal trailer and come back with suggestion. Ok that was interesting. Take Care 😋
