Fabric for Leafeon aquired!

We hit up the local fabric store this weekend! As usual, I was super picky and took forever to choose my materials... xD I also couldn't find decorative trims that were the right colours, so I may have to go online for those...

I chose a silk dupioni for the green outer dress, which shifts in colour. It can look anywhere from a golden yellow tone to a sea foam sort of greenish blue. I included a few photos of it in different lighting.

The sheer striped fabric will go on top of the yellow satin for the under dress. Then I will go wild with trims and appliqués to add more detail~

I am planning to suggest ears using a fancy hat rather than have straight up leaf ears, but we'll see how that goes...
