Back before I was shooting with NODs regularly, I prioritized getting irons up front for better sight radius. Now? With irons as a tertiary sighting system, I keep em mostly as a zero-verifier for the Eotech, and then the laser. Having the ATPIAL as far forward as possible maximizes the illuminator's capability, which is pretty important with night vision. Gotta be able to see what you're aiming, shooting at.
