Important Announcement

I have an important announcement to make, and its regarding something that has been on my mind for quite a while now. Last week, between the two conventions I've been prepping for, I took in my last batch of commissions and closed my commission form. I've been amazed to have so many people approaching me during what is usually such a quiet commission season (especially after the holidays). I'll be working through these commissions over the next couple of months, though one of them looks like it might take a little longer.

After that its very likely that I won't be taking on many commissions as I will be going back to full time work again with art being on the side-lines. This wasn't an easy decision for me, and talking to other artists I know quite a few who are going back into full time employment to cover costs, but there's been a lot going on in my life that has made me seek a more stable income. I am about to lose a crucial safety-net in my life, and I need to become more independent. It's really stressed me out, and I didn't act it would most likely lead to my work stagnating. Now that I have this new job coming up I might be able to move forward with my life and preserve my joy for creating work.

With that being said, while I'm going to be less reliant on commissions I am not entirely giving up on TF art or my Patreon. I still enjoy doing it to some degree, and having the extra support from Patrons is also welcome. It's inevitable that there will be a reduction in the number of art updates on here, but I will see about keeping sketch rewards and even projects like Art Revival going. I also hope that being less reliant on commissions will give me more time to work on my own projects, especially my Phantomfield comics. I see a great opportunity to develop this side of the business.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me with commissions these past few years. It's been wonderful to experience full time art work and live that dream for a bit. I'm hoping that there will be a time in the future I can do it again, especially if my Phantomfield series really takes off.  In the meantime, please look forward to more of my art, and I hope you guys will continue to support my work in the future, whether its TF or otherwise.
