State of things: August 2023 in review

I haven't been idle, I have been busy working on some new models, finalizing the comic pages from the tribal hunter comic I made last year, and starting a new secret project. I was hoping to share one of my new models with you all, but today I have barely any energy and I still need to finish up a few more renders before I am truly ready to share. The model in question is an updated Draco Rex model (how fancy!) I used the body of bystander owl as a base for Draco on a whim. To my surprise it went really well. I still need to do the underbody textures for Draco, but that can wait a bit longer. I also started another model, this one of the Dragon Ogre king from old animated puss n boots cartoon, the ref once again provided to me by the lovely Heartman/pencilman. I got a few more models planned, so stay tuned for those.
Again, I am deeply sorry I don't have anything I feel comfortable sharing just yet, as I am still working out a few bugs on the models. Good news is that I got at least 7 pages of the comic done so far. I plan on uploading those in 4 to 5 page bursts in the future to here, but I want to get a few more done before I do that, and I am still trying to decide if I'll digitally ink them first or not.
Other than that, things have been busy around the house. We've had to do a lot of cleaning, dealing with people trimming the trees and bushes, fixing a lock, and more. Thank you for being so patient with me.
