Lorraine controlled the narrative of the movies as it pertained to their lives, which is why the movie Warrens are amazing. lol Patrick Wilson also helps… 🫦

James Wan is a master director for real, he’s so good as you say at creating suspense. I’ve seen all the franchise (except the last one from this year) multiple times and i love them. Im like you, I don’t believe in everything but there are definitely unsolved things we as humans will probably never know and thats what they build the fear from. Personal story: when i was 14 me and my mom was dogsitting for her friend (they went to thailand for 2 weeks) and we stayed at their house. Now I didn’t know it before hand but they had some weird stuff happening in that house. My mom didn’t want to tell me because she didn’t want to scare me. But during our two weeks there, every night at 01:30 their dog (a sweet golden that never barked) would go to the middle of the stairs and just growl. I wanted to go down to the kitchen one night and get something and it blocked me, trying to keep me from going down. There was also weird noises every night and the power fuses shut off at random times. Now im not scared easy or anything but it was weird and unexplainable. Side note, Vera Famiga is one of my favorites, so darn talented
