Thank you โค๏ธ recovering well and so glad that I must have been following your advice before I heard it today XD I spent most of the early post op weeks researching an anime from 1978, and doodling fanart whilst revising for my Japanese studies course starting next September (so much yay to the anime question, I have too many recs myself) XD "Rest, Research and Intentional Joy" are getting stapled into my journal now btw โค๏ธ

My dad was very much the same in completely ignoring anything involving me being queer, which was one of the many things that killed my relationship with him. It's really validating to hear other people struggled with the same or similar things, so thank you. โค๏ธ
