Added 2022-11-01 16:01:02 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I've decided to change the way that I charge patrons moving forward.
Before, everyone was charged on the first of the month, regardless to when they first pledged on Patreon, so people who joined near the end of the month would be charged again at the beginning of the month. This led to a lot of frustration for new patrons, but Patreon has allowed creators to change to a different model.
With this new model, new patrons will be charged on the day they sign up, and then each month they will be billed on the same day.
EX: New patron signs up in November on the 17th. They won't be charged again until December 17th.
You’re charged when you join and monthly on that same date, just like any typical subscription. You can see your next charge date at checkout and in your Active Memberships tab.
For existing patrons: Nothing will change for you! You will still be charged on the first of the month! If you want to change your subscription date, you will have to cancel and sign up again. Be Warned: This could potentially cause you to be charged twice, on the 1st of the month and the new sign up date, since Patreon will treat you as a new patron, so do this with caution!
