I love this show, the acting is so great and the story has been well paced! Also he did lie to her about his age. She asked him how old he was and he told her to go first. When she said she was 19 he told her he was 22. Given he was the only one she trusted at the time I understand why she was so hurt and betrayed when she found out he lied. Likewise given he finally thought someone loved him I can understand why he was so hurt by her words at the time.
