Hey guys!

It's been a while since I've posted some Fanart for you!

I'm hoping to enter a collector's fair here in São Paulo next week, so I'm getting some new work done for my portfolio. I've learned from my experience at Comic Con that fanarts are very valued!

Thankfully, I just happen to be watching something I've waited 8 years to watch. You're probably familiar with Doctor Who!

When I was 16, I stumbled across a few music videos of the 11th Doctor and was overwhelmed by how whimsical and wonderful his series looked. Sooo I invited my brother to watch it with me, and he insisted we started from the very first doctor and made our way up to the 11th. Long story short, we made it to the 4th and gave up. It took us 2 years to get there, too!

But the other day I was looking for characters matching Steban's personality type, so I could find inspiration to write him well, and I stumbled across the 11th Doctor once more. I didn’t let the opportunity pass me by this time. I decided to watch his series and skip the rest, and I’m so happy I did. The series was everything younger me hopped for. This Doctor’s positivity, enthusiasm, ingenuity, child-like wonder, while also carrying a darker, lonelier spirit was everything I was looking for as inspiration - and everything I love! I’m currently at the beginning of his last season and can’t wait to see what other adventures he has in store. The plots and characters are amazing, especially during series 5.

No need to say that "Vincent and the Doctor" is my favorite episode, eh?

I really recommend it!
