Starting with the complete video played in the giraffe class. It's mostly the same three pictures from Vaabs that I lined and colored last time, but I wanted the segment to feel a bit more dynamic. So, I added close-ups and split screens and ended up slightly changing some poses and expressions. (Screenshot 1) I think it works well, especially given how short the segment is, so I’m pretty happy with the result! Next, Ms. Sharpe starts asking questions, time for a little quiz! (Screenshot 2) It’s more of a guessing game at this point, but giving good answers can help June get better grades in the classroom. And who knows, maybe there’ll be some kind of exam later on. (Screenshot 3) This segment took quite a while to integrate since there are seven questions, and characters enter and leave the frame as Ms. Sharpe fishes for answers. But thankfully, June is saved by the bell (literally). That’s the end of the giraffe classroom for this day, so the next segment should be lunch. (Screenshot 4) I wrapped up the day working on the introduction to the squirrel class, where June gets the obligatory diaper check (or in this case, panty check) by Ms. Cosset. Of course, Ms. Cosset’s reaction will vary depending on what happened the day before. (Screenshot 5) That’s about it for this report! Next week, I plan to continue working on the squirrel classroom and possibly start on backgrounds.
