Maybe she doesn’t want to grow up. She loves her youth and innocence, but even that got damaged at some point. Life forces her to grow older every year. On her birthday her mother just wants to see her happy, even though it isn’t her happiness, so she’s forced to change her mind(head), forced to be happy. Which leads her to grow attached, to her old(younger) self, to the point that she keeps her head until it rots. Forced to wear a mask so she can put up with the smell?.. so she can hang on, just a little longer… I’m guessing she goes through it quite often, since there are so many head stones.. Since it was deleted on Instagram😞
