There is one sound that is my absolute favorite of all:
S3 ep4 - When Daenerys traded her dragon for the Unsullied army and the slave owner got burned.
S4 ep3 - In Meereen when Daenerys gives the order to catapult those barrels of broken chains.
S5 ep9 - The first guy Drogon eats in the fighting pit.

Anyone else waiting with bated breath for the next one? It's one of my top 3 fave episodes. I rewatch one scene in particular often. Sure you could guess what scene that is! 🔥🔥🔥

This was one of the best episode. Next ones pretty up there too. They did good this season for sure. And Wun Wun is our BOY. So happy he didn’t go out in this episode. I too thought he would when I saw it for the first time

I don't think I ever noticed the ticking sound until I read your comment and then watched the episode.

Your reactions are fantastic. You saying I doubt we will see the white walkers yet and then seconds later realising they are coming.
Glad you enjoy the quieter conversations almost as much as most of these in GOT (especially in this ep) go onto have bigger meanings and have pay offs. I think one of my favourite ones gone by is when Cersei asks her father what she's doing to help Jaime and he said if I went to war for Tyrion what would I do for my heir... Everything in my power. But what goes unnoticed is hes writing a letter and I believe this is him writing to Roose Bolton persuading him to change allegiance now lannisters have the Tyrells and be handed warden of north as and when Robb falls

The battle at Hardhome gives me chills every single time I re-watch it. There are plenty more re-watchable scenes coming.
I think the Night King seeing Jon kill a White Walker made him take special notice of Jon, as you can tell by that staring contest at the end.
I have a feeling that just from this episode alone, you'll probably move Tormund to a higher level than C on your tier list. I don't think the giant Wun Wun even made it on your list last time. I wonder if that will change.

I knew you would freak ou at this one😂 Such a well directed battle. And to see them all rise at the end makes you feel like they are unbeatble... Scary shit

Yeah pretty much, the White Walkers are pretty unique looking, kinda look like they are made of ice, have actual armor, ice spears etc. as weapons, often some kind of unique facial features and hairstyles (eg long white hair, or the crown for the king), they show intelligence in their actions and fighting etc. As for the distinction zombies/skeletons we are often used to: afaik those are all wights in GOT, so basically just former living things in different stages of decomposition or destruction (through fighting etc.) who got raised by the WW. Which is why White Walkers don't look dead/decomposed/zombie-skeleton-like since they've never been dead and raised in the first place (more about their origin later in the series). Also: WW have an imposing aura and bring the cold with them, and the show will pretty much always make sure to let you know that this is a WW you're dealing with, while rabid masses are pretty much always just wights. Hope that clears things up!

Yes, it did seem like the white walkers were at least somewhat intelligent, but their undead army are just out to kill anything human

I did know that distinction, but sometimes I can't really tell which is which when seeing them in action. I usually just assume the ones that look like zombies are like wights (like you said) and the ones that look more unique compared to humans are white walkers. I'm assuming the skeletons are considered wights as well?

Btw not sure if that's completely clear to you now or not, maybe it's just phrasing, but: the wights and the White Walkers are two very different things. It's not like one are the "generals" of the others, rather the White Walkers are an entirely different race (more about their origin later in the series), they are intelligent, ancient, very powerful, have hierarchies (they have a king and generals among their ranks) etc. while the wights are "just" braindead zombies, dead people/animals who have been raised by the White Walkers to be used as a mindless horde of zombie fighters. Just wanted to make the distinction a bit more clear, but maybe you already knew. Great reaction btw!

Oooooooh, when you hear that ‘tick tick tick tick’ white walker soundtrack motif you just KNOW shit is about to go down. 😫

Easily one of the best sequences of the show so far! When the wights first descend on the camp and you hear all the chaos going on behind the gate but can't see until it just slowly turns to eerie silence – CHILLS! It was like watching a horror movie. Best of all, we got confirmation that the WW have some level of intelligence because they went for the dragon glass.
