2025-08-29 14:05:16 +0000 UTCI truly think your art style is fantastic. I think for the sake of comics having a simple background is plenty. It’s hard enough cramping characters and dialogue into the small enough boxes. You’d not want to lose all your hard work getting pushed to the figurative and literal background of said text boxes and such. What i think is a good compromise is to save those big detail images for maybe one panel cinematic pages. Or save them for when you make more singular art pieces not connected to comics. Mainly images that can benefit from being more background oriented. But for sure keep the simple details for the smaller sections like this. If you have the space to fit more details for sure go for it. But don’t let it get ya down if you can’t fit it. Another option is if you wanted to try making larger pictures. You could try to set up a monthly schedule and maybe shorten how many pages you do a month so you can focus on making more larger detailed pics you’d feel inspired to try. It would also give you some time to plan out the story and even prepare some concepts ahead of time. :3 Keep up being awesome. But for sure take care of your mental health and physical as well. <3.
