As shady as Reigen is, he's clearly using Mob for his own gain and he's lying to him about him having powers but there is truth in what he's saying. He has the experience and wisdom and even if he has ulterior motives to keep Mob around, he is teaching him good stuff that he needs to learn. Reigen truly is my favorite Mob Psycho character.
