Dragon Prince s2 ep7 Full, Early, Uncut

Fire and Fury!

OH WOW!!

Dragon Prince s2 ep7 Full, Early, Uncut

Comments

just looked back and you're right lol. I mixed up the finale eps for s2 and s3 in my head

Rían Laudano

oh shit, really? but season. 3 has Mystery of Aaravos in the title no?

Rían Laudano

Ok so i was checking out the eps that are coming, and If possible, i would suggest watching up to ep3 of season 3. It gives you an idea of whats to come but also gives you a “natural-ish pause” :)

Annieme

Yeah a few people only joined for TDP it will come back, but it will just be taking a hiatus for a couple of months so feel free to pause your subs here for a couple of months until I return if Vox Machina and Arcane aren't your things :D

Mosco Moon

I would be happy to do this if the show was doing well on Youtube, but it's really not, so it's not worth my time pushing to try and get ahead on this show. Right now it's doing half as well as Ducktales and Steven Universe so those shows will take priority on my channel :( sorry

Mosco Moon

I really enjoy how attentive you are to every side's perspective, last weeks with the titan dilemma situation, now with Soren and the dragon situation. From what I've seen, people have had a tendency to call Soren an idiot for attacking the dragon because "it wasn't attacking, it was just flying around". Which is a valid statement, and I'd agree with Corvus that Soren should not have started a fight he couldn't end. But judging how the dragon attacked the second Soren shot that arrow - completely missing the target and not hurting her the slightest -, it's not a stretch to assume that she was at the very least on a spying mission, at worse waiting for a pretext to attack. That added up to the whole boarder situation Amaya encounters, the final picture is way more nuanced than "Xadia good, humans bad". Both side anticipate the ennemy's next move, and it leads them to dangerous power displays escalating up to tragedies

Azirapalala

Oh man, that would make me so sad to see you pause this. Season 7 is coming out December 19th btw! (Was a shock announcement this week oml). Regardless, looking forward to all the potential Dragon Prince content come December. ;') I may end up pausing Patreon until then though, as the two main things I watch you for (in full/uncut) are TDP and Steven Universe atm, (my babies). ;'P Looking forward to Arcane in Nov though! :3

Ríon

I honestly wouldn't mind TDP being paused, but I do hope it doesn't get dropped bc I've been REALLY enjoying your reactions to it!!

Kyasemi

That's after season 3 not 2 :)

Marissa Armstrong

it's actually a good idea to pause dragon prince after season 2 bc we were left there for a year or 2 before season 3 came out. plus after season 2 it's no longer just called The Dragon Prince, it's name becomes The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos

Rían Laudano

It's actually the caterpillar thingy that's making Aaravos' voice sound so deep and mysterious. Face-to-face, he talks like Kermit the Frog on helium.

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Very well written, and i agree.

GeeksFTW

i missed it the first time, but it's so obvious when mosco paused on it. Such an amazing little easter egg.

likewise part of the lie is varin selling the story of the titan as a great adventure, a glorious victory and a noble sacrafice that made 3 queens legends. While Harrow frames it as a moment of weakness, a selfish choice that killed an innocent creature and resulted in the tragic loss of 3 lives, robbing 3 children of their mothers. Which feeds back into harrow's point, power and rash violent actions aren't strength, they are weakness. Empathy and diplomacy are strength, the child queen refusing to buy into the war is strength, not varin's desperation to do so out of fear. Actions like his are often sold as strength, but they are weakness. Think of modern day political strongmen like ol Donnie, they spend all their time selling how tough they are by making heartless decisions, by fanning the flames of war, by showing no empathy to the less fortunate, but they are the weakest people i've ever seen. THAT, is the lie, and that is kind of of king varin would pressure Ezran to be, that Varin was pressuring anya to be. The kind of king harrow strived to not be. ....at least that's what I think the lie is after pondering it a bit following mosco's confusion (i'd just kinda glossed over it on first watch myself)

Glad you caught Rayla's Sailor Moon pose! So absolutely ridiculous. Not the last magical girl pose you see, although Viren was a poor choice for the continuation of this joke. Some men can pull off a skirt. He cannot. It'll be a shame to see this show benched, but I get it. I'll be eagerly awaiting its return.

Joey Quixote

The 3 noted things of Harrows letter from previous episode. The Lie: Histories narrative of strength. Which trapped Harrow in the cycle of violence between humans and elves. The wish: Harrows wish that his children be free. Mainly this follows from Harrows previous note of "the lie of history". Harrow wanted his children to learn from history, but not be chained down by it like he let himself become. The secret: The magic cube is called "the key of Aaravos" legend claims it belonged to a master of all 6 primal magics, and that it unlocks something in Xadia.

GeeksFTW

If in any way possible, I would strongly recommend you to rush Season 3 before pausing the series since Season 3 is the end of the first Saga of The Dragon Prince and therefore the only point in the series made to be a "resting point" for the viewers. (Also noticeable since there was a 3 year gap between Season 3 and 4 in contrast to roughly a half year between Seasons 1-2-3, 4-5 and 1 year between 5 and 6).

Adrian

Nah, I was kinda tired and rushed, and I am kinda dumb. I literally just forgot the correct spelling and didn't take the time to look it up prior to posting.

Syllephia

Wen you saw the Key of Arrovos there were marks on the ground when Calum was rolling it remember that for future episodes

RavenFairy

Dark magic is why we say "don't do drugs kids" 😅

Catradora fan

Can't wait until you get to drunk/high/"acting silly" Callum and Rayla.

JHB

Xadia, not Zadia...or was that part of the joke?

Flufux

It’s too bad that it doesn’t seem to fit your schedule but the end of season 3 would be a much better point for a long break than after season 2. Also, season 3 is really a big step up from the first two. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to your reactions to Vox Machina and Arcane.

Bernhard

looking at where both shows would be in november-ish, ducktales has a pretty good stopping point around the halfway point of season 2, steven universe would be in the final handful of episodes of season 1. So, much as I hate to say it, a ducktales hiatus might be the way to go if you have to stop one for arcane. Which, considering there will be 3 new helluva boss episodes in that span, and with season 2 of hazbin hotel likely looming in jan/feb-ish well...yeah I think you probably will be rather busy for a while.

We'll be sad to see Dragon Prince take a hiatus, but the algorithm must be served. And it's for a good cause - we didn't get to see your reaction to Arcane season one, and no doubt season two will serve up spicy feelings. I love how subdued your reaction to the bug was compared to Elijah. She basically jumped out of her chair. And that's how it starts, Callum. You use dark magic once, for the best of reasons. And it gets easier every time... "Catra, no!" "Wh...what did I do?" "Sorry, sweetie. Habit. Callum, no!"

Ryan Porter

“He’s gonna regret that” (at soren when he decides to fight the dragon) Yeeeaaahhh maybe just a biiiiit

Annieme

Dang i subscribed to patreon purely for TDP so this hurts lol. Really sucks that it isn't doing well on your channel. Anyways loved your reaction to this episode! This episode is such a turning point for basically every character. Can't wait for your reactions to the rest of the season!

Dayshon

A griffin, that's cool WITH AN EYEPATCH

William Timmins

Quality wise I disagree there. But I can see it. Watching this reaction I just see myself not excited about any specific episode coming up.

Suplee215

From what I've seen, season 4 is easily considered the worst part of the show by most fans.

Vilmu

I think dragon prince early seasons are their weakest and I think your reactions might sadly be suffering from that. They're not bad but they're very sloppy from a writing standpoint in my opinion and it takes the show to season 3 to get it's footing. Season 4 5 and 6 is great too. Although the show Fandom also doesn't seem to be active outside of right when a new season drops too. It's a good show. Yhe fans just aren't crazy. Or tend to he crazy on other shows

Suplee215

Thank you for sharing your plans. I admit I haven't been watching on YouTube, but that's because I subscribed to Patreon solely for the Dragon Prince. Sorry!

Kathryn Allen

Things get super awkward in season 6 when the humans harness darkest magics to summon a young Stoic the Vast to combat all of Zadia.
