Great take on Kate. Watching this reaction actually made me sympathise with how they wrote her. You mention the frustration - but I think Kate not wanting to explain anything, is literally just part of the ''damage''. It's frustrating to watch, but I've always just likened it to the problems other characters have. Just so happens her issues directly affect the viewer, because we want her to explain herself. It's easy to forget how ''closed'' so many real people are in real life. Just my take. I'd love for you to discuss this further in one of your videos because I find that a lot of people naturally dislike her, and don't enjoy her episodes. I honestly think it was all intentional, which makes me think the writing is good. Rather than it being an issue of bad writing, I find that she's a well written example of someone with a broken upbringing.

Yeah for sure! Kate helps with the balance of the show but I always feel like they could of done a little bit more with her in this show (so far at least) :)

She is very interesting for sure, wether people love or hate her they can't stop talking about her it seems :D really can't wait to see where the show takes us with her

I agree with your take on Kate, Rob; and it was those reasons that I found it difficult to warm to her character; even though her back story was interesting; I just did not feel any emotion towards her. Instead I was always left kind of "meh". I don't dislike her, I just didn't take to her.

What you said about Kate's age, concerning the dads... her mom said she was 24 the night she killed Wayne. And her "dad" said she was 5 when he left. So there's the time line.

Narcos is great btw! But if you’re gonna watch a show about the life of crime - Ozark! It’s so good. My respect for Jason Bateman skyrocketed after watching the first few episodes.

Narcos, at least S1, is a dramatisation of Pablo Escobar and the real life DEA agents that were trying to bring him down btw

Dark always my goto for a Lostalike mystery box show, its quite dense and german and a lot more serious, but I think its the first show to ever completely outdo Lost in these unfurling head explodey 'answer a question and ask 10 more' type mind fk shows. Welcome re tier list! Glad it was useful!

Fringe is great but, particularly in first 20 ep season is very episodic 'monster of the week'. I think it shines super brightly with some amazing serialized plot when it gets going and would be happy to see it reacted to, but that first season would be a slog for me ngl :D i definitely wouldn't rate the entire run as a mystery show like Lost, but its definitely very good.
