Alright! Time for a quick progress report. Quick, of course, because the Polls haven't closed on any of the secondary rewards for the month! There's only a little over a day left on those polls, so make sure you get your votes in!
For now, what I have to report on is Left Hand Magic. Progress has been fairly solid, I'm pleased to say. Day 3 of the Revina/Trix Route's Week 6 already has all it's renders/animations finished. I'm currently wrapping up the still renders for another day (Day 5, actually. I'm doing them out of order since I had a clearer idea what I was doing with Day 5 and wanted a day or two extra to plan Day 4), and plan to have the first animation for it run 'overnight.' Which, well, is really 'overday' with the hours I prefer. But that doesn't sound quite as sane to most people :-p.
Anyway, that's honestly about where I expected to be. I'm maybe a day behind where I'd have liked to be, but honestly about where I expected to be, given I was pretty run down at the start of the month. Currently, I'm projecting that I'll be able to finish a total of 5 in-game days worth of content in this build. The remaining three for Rev/Trix and two for whoever the Poll Winner is. That will get us back up to a 9 animation build, which is what I was managing for the first 5 months of this year on average. Possibly with another fixed older animation thrown in with a little luck.
Admittedly, I've been hoping to increase the number of animations per build, as I managed two builds ago, but right now I've still got a lot of extra appointments on the medical side of things for the rest of August. So I don't think I'll practically be able to hit the slightly larger build size I want. I may be able to start doing that in September, but I'm making zero promises right now, as I just don't know when and how everything is going to shake out.
Anyway, since the polls are running for another day still, that's really all I can say for now! Get your votes in and expect another post the day after the polls wrap up (so, the 12th sometime, most likely).
