Progress Report

Alright, we're waaay overdue for one of these. Sorry about that everyone, I honestly hadn't realized I'd let it slip. Part of the reason for that is that I've been pretty busy trying to stay on target and...results have been mixed.

Haven's Port

So...I currently consider myself at the 'moderately worried' point regarding whether the release will be on time or not. Fifteen of the planned seventeen scenes have their renders done, with the sixteenth in progress. Unfortunately, the last few scenes have fought me tooth and nail. I was supposed to be finishing rendering today...and that's not going to happen. At best, I'll finish early Monday morning. 

While I'll start programming before then, having to juggle between the two means less time for programming/writing each day I'm still working on renders. Which, in turn, leaves me worried I'm not going to finish on time. Given that I've got quite a few longer scenes and some more complex programming to stuff into this build...well, the possibility of a day or two of delay is a real one. 

Unless something goes badly wrong, it's unlikely to be more than a day or two, but the possibility IS there. Unfortunately. And I'm not able to simply cut the remaining scenes out, as they are important ones for the build -_-. So, if there's a delay...there's a delay. Hopefully there won't be, but you have been warned, at least. And, again, it shouldn't be a long one if there is one at all.

Short Story 2

This is the only remaining reward other than the game itself that still needs doing. Surprisingly, I actually already have a little over 2,000 words of a one-shot done for this. I'm going to put some more time into it tonight and see how far I get...but as of tomorrow I really need to get fully flipped over to programming/writing for Haven's Port. As I've always made clear, the second short story of the month has the lowest priority of all rewards. It'll get done, it just might be late. Right now, I'd give it a 50/50 chance of being out this month, with the other 50% chance being that it'll release a few days late. Again, unless something goes horribly wrong.
