Angel 4x6 Spin The Bottle
Added 2025-02-03 20:00:11 +0000 UTCI am so sorry, but there won't be a full version of this episode available. I began watching this episode and noticed in the re-cap, the ratio seemed to be off. The faces were stretched and it looked weird. I use Disney to watch both Buffy and Angel. I had a look online and saw I had access to this episode using another streaming service in Australia, called Channel 7 Plus (this is free to air TV). So I decided to watch it on that one, but there was problems with that too as it included ads so I can't be sure how long the 'black screens' are between ad breaks. It also included a 7 logo on the bottom right, so I had to move my cam to cover it (that annoys me as it's always on the left, usually 😭) If this happens again, I'll just put up with the stretched ratio and fix it in editing as this was a PAIN! I'm really unhappy with my cam position in the edit, but I don't know what else to do and I don't really want the 7 logo visible ☹️
SO! Now that that's out of way, I actually loved this episode! It was HILARIOUS. It's wonderful to have an episode that is on the lighter side, and everyone played such an incredible part in this one. Lorne was just amazing. Well, they all were 😅

My interpretation (which can be wrong of course) of why Liam decided to be an evil vampire is because everyone thought he was one. They didn’t give him a chance to be good, they went straight to vampire = bad so he thought hey what the hell, I might as well be bad since they all think I have to be.

I love him, as mostly everyone who watches Angel does 🥰 **SPOILERS FOR BUFFY SEASON 7** - - - it's only recently though since the whole Spike soul thing and reading comments about it, that I realise Angel and Spike ARE different. They both have souls, but Angel was forced to have one, whilst Spike chose his. Ultimately, they are still vampires with souls but are they very different? Do fans think this makes Spike "better" than Angel?

I think Angel gave in to his vampire urges this episode because he didn’t have a reason not to. Angel has admitted that he enjoys causing pain, but he resists because of his guilt for everything he did without a soul.
