So many great moments in the episode. Fred was stunning in her costume. Lorne was incredible. What a talented man. Angel was hilarious, all his memories of the people he used to hang with! Really great episode with an epic ending, too.

2025-01-14 21:31:05 +0000 UTCThis episode has a DVD commentary track with Andy Hallet (Lorne) and David Fury, the writer of this episode. Andy is great talking about the on-location filming. Those were actual Vegas showgirls on stage with him during his number. He also talks about all the complaints he and the show received from persons familiar with Vegas. The filming jumped all over town making it seem like the locations were near by instead of miles away from each other. Glitter Gulch (where Lorne sang his high note) is an actual covered 24-hour mall with all kinds of gambling, shopping and attractions. Andy said that his mother would call him to complain about episodes (like this one) when he was hit or beheaded. And she was thrilled by scenes where he came out ahead in a fight, usually by singing his high note.

If I can sing stupid versions of popular songs in my Minecraft videos, I can sing in front of all those people đ€Ł I think of myself as an introvert too, but I can be a bit of a mixed bag. I don't mind being silly or making a fool out of myself some times! Fred looked just INCREDIBLE in her outfit! The question is, if he had picked you, would you have been up for singing in front of all those people? As an introvert I most definitely would not have been! Angel: "Cordelia?"
