Buffy 7x4 Help Reaction

I don't think I'm alone in saying that I really love seeing Buffy thriving in a "normal" job. She is absolutely wonderful in this position, and it convinced me enough that for a moment I can forget she is The Slayer and imagine her as a normal girl, in a normal life.

The actor who played Cassie is just delightful. I adore her voice!

Such an interesting and well done episode, I loved the montage of students all needing Buffy's help. It's just wonderful seeing her helping people, in a slightly different way than she normally does!

Yes, it's so funny that back in 2002 only the computer geek knows the term...

This episode, the next one and I think it's episode 8 are some of my absolute favourite episodes not just of this season, but in all of Buffy. My Disney subscription runs out on the 13th of this month and we can't afford to renew it for a while. I'm going to try and see how Prime Australia works in terms of episode sync, but if not I really hope I can at least see your reaction to the next episode, because I think you're going to appreciate it (I hope). As soon as we have some spare cash I will be back to watch the rest of season 7 with you (and complain bitterly about the bits I don't like, LOL) and Angel season 5.

Trivia bit about this episode, it's the first time the term 'Googled' was used on Television.

I really love this episode. Azura Skye, who plays Cassie, is great. So is the montage of students talking to councilor Buffy. And Dawn's "She was my friend because of you." But most of all, I love the message of it all. What do you do when you know that sometimes, you can't help? The show answers it without words: Buffy shows up for work the next day. To try to help anyway, even if it may not help. Because maybe it will.

Michelle Trachtenberg's speech at the end is a real highlight for me. "She was my friend because of you."

Yes, I loved the subtle nod to Reptile Boy.

Britney

Shades of Reptile Boy, evil student-types sacrificing young women to gain riches and power. At least Buffy stopped this cult in it's earliest stage to avoid generations of demon worshipers.

This is a great episode. I still remember when I saw it for the first time, I was not expecting Cassie to actually die in the end. That was sad.

Britney

Beautiful episode. Not much more to say. Just a really strong episode. The actress who played Cassie was brilliant.
