Buffy - The I In Team 4x13 - Full Reaction

NO WAY. NO WAAAAAYYYYYY! Okay, I cannot believe what happened in this one! But unlike my normal state of denial, I have FULLY accepted this haha! OH MY GOSH. I never, ever saw that coming! It was amazing 😱

I feel that this season started off a bit slower with regards to the shocking moments, and I hate to say that because I am not complaining in the slightest! We had a new environment, we were getting used to a new place for Buffy, we don't have Giles as watcher, things are just different now. No Angel... So it does make sense that we'd focus more on the story and lives of the characters and figure out how to be comfy in a new place. But I really do feel that things are ramping up now, in a HUGE way!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend πŸ’œ

I'm hand in hand with you there, just gets something into my head also.

Michael Champion

Sorry, I overreact sometimes since I'm used to people just jumping on my posts and trolling or undercutting me.

Stephen Knueppel

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound condescending or imply you didn't know the reasons. I meant only to add on to what you said.

Lime Pie

Oh you sweet summer child 😁

Omg I bet he ate his way through so many 🀣 I was expecting a Band Candy moment, and I don't think I would be alone with that thought! Thankfully they were just disgusting 🫣 I never expected to see the end of Walsh in this episode OR indeed Adam. It all seemed to happen so quickly. I would have guessed it would have kept going until the end of the season, but apparently not! It does make me wonder how much of this was filmed before airing. Maybe fans thought it was slow or they didn't like Walsh so they wrote her off sooner than expected? I assumed that it would all be filmed and then aired but I could be wrong! Thank you, Neil πŸ’œ have a lovely Sunday! I'm over here, sweltering as usual haha

I find it so fun, too!! It's been a joy to relax a bit more with this season and have a laugh πŸ’œ

Spike is a character that conflicts me. He's obviously evil, and I'd say he doesn't like Buffy and the gang one iota. I often feel bad for liking him so much, as if it were someone else, anyone else, with that much hate towards Buffy, I dare say I'd dislike them very much. I don't know what happens in the future, and I'm probably naive, but I just think Spike wouldn't actually hurt or kill any of the scoobies as I doubt they'd write that in.... aaaaand now I've jinxed it I'm sure 🀣🀣

Juliette Gaming

Bahahaha I honestly did NOT see that coming with Walsh! It was so darn surprising 🀣🀣

I honestly adore Tara's face. She has the most kind, honest and gentle appearance. It's really very striking!! I do feel bad for Willow though, but it seems that just like real life, friendships go through phases and stages. I'm just so glad Willow has grown and has so many interests and hobbies to enjoy πŸ’œ

Lucky Xander 🀣

I think we all know who's the one getting spanked. Anya did punish men for a 1000 years.

Bud Haven

A common refrain from many reactors - Where do we go from here?

Ross43

Tara indeed seems nice. And I suppose it's good that Willow has someone else to hang out with now that Buffy is so busy with the Initiative and Riley. Well, *was* busy. I'm guessing she'll not be answering her beeper anymore now.

I know all the reasons, I've been watching since it first aired I'm just giving an opinion. Spike regardless of being helpless currently is too dangerous to be allowed to live and Buffy's moral view/ compassion is putting everyone around her in danger, something that is recurring.

Stephen Knueppel

Ding dong the bitch is dead. :D. I am dying to say something else about something that happened in this episode but I don't want to potentially spoil anything. So i'll hold my thoughts for a while. :)

Michael Short

Agreed! For me I find this one of if not the funniest seasons of Buffy.

Mrs. Peacock

The actual reason the Scoobies have not killed Spike is, as you said, the fans loved him. However, an in-universe reason is that Buffy is morally conflicted about killing a vampire that can't hurt humans, even if he has slaughtered thousands and would again if he got the chip out. I know Xander and Giles would be first in line to run a stake through Spike's heart, but they trust Buffy as the commander. What she says goes. It adds to the often overlooked parallel between the Scoobies and the Initiative.

Lime Pie

Maggie was supposed to be the season big bad but Lindsey Crouse couldn't keep her commitment and was given this quick exit. Kind of sad with all the groundwork for her character already laid. This season was a bit chaotic for the writers with the abrupt departure of first Oz and then Maggie and a lot of hasty rewriting had to be done. It would have been so cool to see Buffy confront Maggie and how Riley would react to that. Anyway I think the Scooby's need to just kill Spike. He's still very evil and would not hesitate to murder people if he ever got the chip out so why risk it. He's killed enough already to justify just taking him out helpless or not. I know he's funny and fans love him but he's still a monster.

Stephen Knueppel

Her saying "Where do we go from here?" multiple times got something stuck in my head. If you know you know

Jonathan Hall

Don't worry, Juliette. There are still plenty of shocking moments yet to come in the show. πŸ˜‚ Season 4 is a little more lighthearted and fun, in my opinion. I think that's why I enjoy this season so much.

Britney

Amazing episode! When we see Buffy on the monitor behind Professor Walsh and she says "If you think that's enough to kill me you really don't know what a slayer is. Trust me when I say you're gonna find out!" that's such an "Oh S**t!" moment. Too bad we don't get to see Buffy get her revenge! Anya being inappropriately humorous once again with her "Yes, we've enjoyed spanking" over-sharing during the card game. πŸ˜‚ Love her! I'm pretty sure Xander ate way more of those disgusting boost bars than he sold. He was eating them in every scene πŸ˜‚ I'm sure everyone will agree with your feelings about Willow's new friend. She does seem to be a super nice and sweet person. I've always loved the song that starts playing at around the 25 minute mark. It just sounds really cool. Thanks for the reaction Juliette. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
