He reflects Filoni's affinity for wolves (which can also be found in other Star Wars projects he's involved with). Also worth noting that they are not assigned to Tantiss, so they're not directly loyal to Hemlock. They're among the general Imperial resources (like how Cody and Crosshair were under Rampart) now at Hemlock's disposal to track down Omega beyond Tantiss's forces. That's why Wolffe didn't know about Clone-X, and why Clone-X didn't obey Wolffe's orders.

2024-05-05 05:04:11 +0000 UTCCrosshair vs Shadow (dunno his actual name) reminds me of Jason Bourne vs the second gen Treadstone agents in the Bourne trilogy, where the OG keeps having to contend with stronger and better versions of himself and barely scrapes by either through experience or circumstance. It's always a fun dynamic to pit the prototype against the production model, ya know?
