MCU- CH-322. The Noisy Corrupt Ones

As Luke's voice rang out, the infinitely long, infinitely high, and infinitely wide Wall of Origin instantly fell silent.

After hearing the gods say that Luke had been completely drained by the Wall of Origin, they all assumed he was dead. But who would have thought that not only was Luke still alive, but he was now greeting them as if nothing had happened?

"Hahahaha! Looks like there's an interesting newcomer this time!"

"Haha! Indeed, this is interesting. You are the first in countless years to be dragged up the wall by the power of origin. And to think you managed to kill so many seniors attached to the wall in one go—this feat is unprecedented!"

Another giant god spoke to Luke in an ambiguous tone. He had not been in this state before, but when Luke collided with the Wall of Origin, the resulting shockwave drained him of energy almost instantly, leaving him nearly lifeless.

"Faced with endless despair, death may be a kind of relief!"

"Bullshit! If you really believed that, why haven't you let the Wall of Origin drain you completely? The reason you're still alive is that you still want to escape this damned place."

"Hypocritical fools. If you truly accepted your fate, you'd remain silent and endure the endless despair and torment."

Luke had only greeted them, yet it immediately sparked a chorus of mocking and scolding among the gods and demons.

These were ancient beings, trapped on the wall for untold millennia. Unfortunately, they were unable to move freely and could do little more than talk.

"Newbie, why are you silent? Who was powerful enough to send you to the Wall of Origin like this?"

"Come to think of it, we owe that person quite a favor!"

"Yes! I'd love to thank them personally for delivering you here in such a grand manner!"

As they contemplated the identity of Luke's sender, these gods and demons, long reduced to mere voices, quickly shifted their focus to a new argument.

Meanwhile, Luke was analyzing the confrontation between his body and the Wall of Origin.

When he had first been absorbed into the wall, his body instinctively resisted, causing his energy to be drained almost instantly—including his very life force.

This was why he had been reduced to skin and bones.

However, the terrifying nature of fear itself prevented him from dying outright despite his energy and vitality being exhausted. Instead, once the Wall of Origin had drained him completely, its hold on him slightly loosened.

This brief respite allowed Luke to recover, thanks to Doomsday's unique internal energy circulation system and evolutionary traits. Within moments, his drained body began regenerating at a terrifying speed.

Sensing his body's needs, the power of evolution surged, accelerating his energy circulation. With each completed cycle, his strength increased exponentially.

In a very short time, Luke was restored.

Now, he had adapted to the Wall of Origin's attempts to drain him.

With his internal energy circulation acting as a perpetual motion engine, Luke no longer feared the extraction force of the Wall of Origin.

Having regained his strength, he focused on controlling his evolution, attempting to resist the suction force.

"The Wall of Origin... as expected, this relentless suction force operates on a level that even Ancient Doomsday couldn't resist in such a short time!"

Despite his attempts, Luke felt that his body was still lacking something.

No matter how he pushed his genetic system to evolve, he remained helpless against the overwhelming power of origin.

It seemed to contain an unknown concept beyond even Doomsday's comprehension—an obstacle preventing Luke from achieving full immunity.

Feeling discomfort from his position, Luke shifted slightly.

The movement immediately triggered a backlash from the Wall of Origin, its terrifying suction force returning in full force.

At the same time, the nearby gods and demons were so shocked that their eyes nearly bulged from their sockets.

"Am I seeing things? How dare this newcomer move?!"

"Foolish! Do you realize how much energy he must have lost just by shifting?"

"I think this newcomer wants to die. The legend of the Wall of Origin is too hopeless—perhaps he's trying to end his suffering early!"

A new round of discussion erupted, with most believing that Luke had given up.

Luke ignored them.

He slowly adjusted his posture, keeping his movements measured despite the increased suction force. He ensured his shifts remained gradual and controlled.

"Foolish! Absolutely foolish!"

"Why waste energy instead of saving it to resist the Wall of Origin? At this rate, it won't be long before this newcomer becomes a dried-up husk like those Titans."

"I expected more from someone powerful enough to be thrown onto the Wall of Origin like this, but I suppose I was mistaken."

Despite their jeers, Luke did not stop. He continued adjusting his limbs, carefully maintaining his pace.

Their mocking eventually took on a different tone.

After all, to them, every god and demon trapped on the wall had remained motionless for eternity, awaiting their inevitable doom.

Yet Luke's actions shattered that notion.

"Hmph! Paying such a high price just to move a hand—utterly foolish."

Their scorn continued.

They felt free to ridicule Luke because, in their eyes, he was just another nameless young god.

However, in the distance, Yuga Khan was stirring on the Wall of Origin, making them believe that escape was still possible.

"Shut up, you noisy relics!" Luke's cold voice rang out, momentarily silencing them.

Then, they laughed even harder.

"You fools haven't even realized the fundamental difference between me and you! You are losers, permanently trapped on the Wall of Origin. I am merely an experiencer of it. Your only fate is to be drained dry, while I will walk away from this place—alive!"

Luke's calm yet confident words stunned the gods and demons into silence.
