Still no background characters. I know I mentioned it before but I wanted to avoid my usual crowd of cameos for this one on account of it not specifically being a NEU comic. Featureless crowds really isn't a strong area for me. I did however get the first twelve pages penciled which is great (even if it's a little hard to decipher from the layers here).
My original idea to have the montage sequence be entirely two panel pages got a little derailed as I have been finding places where I feel like I can make them more visually interesting (and communicate ideas better). I really want to avoid taking a cheap solution that will sacrifice the ability to read into what is supposed to be going on.
