PragerU Makes The Best Children's Shows

Ever wondered what it's like to grow up as a child in North Korea? Or as a Person of Colour in Chicago? Well, lucky for you, Denis Prager is here to tell your kids exactly what it's like.

this is dystopian

Baird Williams

Imagine being a kid in some cornfield with a house in Oklahodahio where the only time you see other people is when you go to your snake handling church and then you get forced to watch these prageru videos about dei policies in Chicago like "Fuck am I meant to do about that?"

AdrenalineVan [Tsharli]

They even have the corporate nothing music running in the background. The target audience for this is a board room, not kids

Disco Pickle

No fucking way I saw Mr. Beast too….. that can’t be good

Max Small Dongus

I know this isn't the point but the only closed captions available are Spanish ._. I struggle with audio processing and I'm not a native English speaker so this video is a bit harder to follow

Mel

9:43 really thought he was gonna say "because im black"

jaurvhjo

god, as an iraqi, seeing all this Prager u crap really just makes me realize that there probably isn't an evil worse than America and it's hegemony

Seans mum gay lol

The difference between a prison and a prison camp is that in a camp you go outside for the forced labor

Toby

you missed the scariest thing about what north korea is doing. they're not just taking them away, they're taking them away in TRAINS, the most communist form of transportation.

Josh

At the start of the Korean video, I thought they just didn't know a single thing about Korean history, but I slowly started realising they are either lying to themselves or knowing lying to others.

Tumas Agius

The only thing that ever came up about North Korea in my schooling was a breeze through the war and time articles on labor camps oh and Team America Your guys video was the first semi positive thing I ever saw on the dprk.

Willow

as a recent american school system escapee i think my peers would not be able to tell you a Korean War happened at all but they could probably point to it on a map

Billie

North Korea influences every decision in their lives.... Like how every government does??

Lou

In high school I was a bully and constantly caused trouble. I was also in the 99th percentile in Australia for maths, and then dropped out of uni because of depression. It's almost like there are other aspects of life that need to be taken into account or something.

Grae

Conservatives REALLY hate how much power the Chicago Teachers Union has here, they're always trying to attack the public schools even more than normal

Sonny

The ultimate EEO+DEI initiative is hating everyone equally.

I was a hiring manager for a Tv Station for 5+ years a while ago. EEO & DEI are hand-in-hand, and there's a severe disconnect on the part of RW people who believe it's a conspiracy to destroy our own systems which is quite the hot take. EEO is a policy that states anyone who may apply and be involved is not to be profiled, and should be given the same chances as anyone else despite prejudice. It's what says when someone has "Ajuar" and "Jessie" on their applicants list, both are given an interview. It can be a bit difficult though, because on the other hand, Ajuar may have more experience and be a generally more-appealing applicant, but you still have to interview Jessie, even if they don't qualify for the position. For jobs with thousands of applicants you have to figure out a way to run through every single application, and interview a certain percentage to keep with EEO. No one can be discounted on any reason. DEI as seen by RW people is a policy that says I'd hire Ajuar in this scenario, because he is a diverse person in the whitewash of Texas. However, there's a problem with this logic. Yes, I would hire Ajuar, but not based on his ethnicity, but his value. If all applicants for all positions at a company are screened equally, you're gonna be shocked to learn-- your employees will be incredibly diverse to begin with. It's not a system without flaws, but it gets candidates that would be overlooked by some the opportunity they should have already had. There's some managers that will hire based on prejudice and have their "EEO" diversity hire as a last-pick if they need to meet a quota. There's no way the diversity hire can prove that out of all applicants (which they are not privy to info on) they were picked because of something other than merit. That's a problem with management as a whole, and even though we have forms and documentation to fill out regarding each hire-- no one will read it unless there's an audit. Which, I don't think I've ever seen a diversity audit. So there's not much use for a system unless the management is checking and ensuring everything is followed. It's the finger waggle threat that something COULD happen, without any follow-up. I like EEO and DEI policies. It's not perfect. But it helps get a face seen that may not have been otherwise. It's shit, but it's America. Also people genuinely do watch this Prager shit and show it to their kids. I've heard staff in the news room talk about it. I hate it. Also; as far as worst Communist Asian Regimes, I'd argue Pol Pot and Mao were worse, personally. Just me.

I am a poor North Korean child that can't afford food because the evil Kim regime forces me to spend all my money on the Boy Boy Patreon.

Local Tankie

I got a DUI is that similar?

Daniel Patrick

Also insanely funny to pretend like the U.S. doesn't want to invade Korea when it's surrounded by American bases

KirbyFan420

It feels more that the lesson wasn't against DEI but more the fact that some parents use public schools as state funded day cares

KirbyFan420

Me when DEI 😧 Me when no DEI 😎

FloweryNBY

Hey boys, unrelated but last night I dreamt you two got married via paragliding and honeymooned in some city. You guys were being all cute and romantic. I guess I dreamt it because of pride month, but I felt the need to share 🌈💖

Trixie

I love being subbed to the Boy Boy patreon

bakedAero

I feel cheated. Five years of college and I haven't even had one DEI class yet :(

Koko Kat

This is such weird, twisted, convoluted, patronising messaging, holy shit. 😳 PragerU is on another level.

Flora Spencer

North Korea can trade with some people...I heard the might give the Yemenis a nuke...

Mo

Rating flowers?! Like throwing them in hot water and drinking the result? Such communism

sam meeus

This was bizarre. At the start it says "meet children from around the world, hear their stories" and then you find out it's actually just some employee of Prager making up stories and pretending to be children from around the world. I feel betrayed.

Matthew Ryan

In my media class we watched the first 3 Alien movies. I could believe Alex watching AVP

Alex18000655506

Weird that these pragur people are so concerned by uniformity and making sure everyone fits into the same mould, instead of treating people as individuals. Seems pretty communist to me.

Matthew Ryan

Also, loved learning about Korean history from PragerU as a Korean. Thanks!

Em

LETS GOO I JUST OPENED TO CHECK IF THERE WAS A NEW VID

Karisma Moore

No!!! Felix went from hosting one of the most influential leftist podcasts to fighting equity for PragerU. (but unironically the white guy narrating sounds a bit like Felix Biederman… or maybe all white guys just sound the same to me).
