Last Christmas... -Part 2

Nick Wilde wakes up on another Holiday, bigger than ever- Judy knows a pattern when she sees one, but maybe she can let this play out a little longer. Enjoy!

***********

"Let auld acquaintance be for naught, and never brought… dee-dee… hm-hm, hm-hm…" Nick Wilde mumbled the song softly to himself while he was still mostly asleep, passed out on the couch— it had been a very busy holiday season for him and his partner Judy. Aside from the usual uptick in some local disturbances, theft, and home fires from overcooked Christmas meals, the fox had been dealing with a slight growth problem, going from an average sized fox to a moving behemoth with enough muscle packed on his frame to shame the largest pachyderms on the force— after a chance encounter with a drink of something at the ZPD's Christmas party, the fox had turned into this living behemoth, and he and Judy had spent the rest of the holiday season trying to figure out what it was, and pick up the trail— and still, through Christmas Day and up to New Year's Eve, they had been on a cold trail.

Then, after what was supposed to be a quiet way to ring in the new year, Judy woke up to a wrecked apartment— it looked like a wild party. The rabbit's own head was pounding as she heard Nick singing in his sleep, then as she stumbled out into the living room, her eyes nearly leapt out of her skull.

"Oh my God. Nick!"

"What?! What, I'm up!" the fox jolted from the wrecked couch and bumped his head against the ceiling, taking some of the plastering with him. Judy clapped her paw over her mouth as she stared— the fox had hit another growth spurt since last night, growing into twice the size of the already enormous vulpine he had been. He leaned forward to connect eyes with Judy; he could barely see anything below the jutting balcony of his chest, mass and power building up in every pumped fiber rippling beneath his scarlet fur. His legs had grown wider than they were long, tire-shaped quads that bristled as he stretched his legs, supporting an upper body so monumental in scale sprawling wide enough that he might be able to cast all of Little Rodentia in his shadow. Everything was exaggerated for the sheer brawn packed upon Nick's body, from his densely packed abs shaded by the vast overhang of his bulging chest, the wide landscape of his shoulders and a neck thicker than Bogo's skull, and a sculpted tapestry of muscle along his back. His enormous arms swelled at the slightest tremor, the slabs of muscle making up his bloated triceps fueling the crowning peaks of his flexed biceps.

"What happened?!" Judy demanded. "Don't tell me you just… drank your way through New Year's and woke up like this, Nick! I was with you the whole time from ringing in the New Year to going to bed!"

"Look, relax, Carrots, relax!" Nick held up his huge arms. "I found the guy!"

"You what? What guy?" she demanded.

"Yeah! And he may have given me… you know, something with a bit of a delayed reaction." The hulking fox said.

Judy tried not to stare overly long at all the rippling brawn sprawled across Nick's body, then nodded curtly. "Alright— alright. Just… take it from the top, Nick."

Nick clapped his hands together, rubbing them as his biceps jostled his engorged pecs. "Okay, so… I was taking a break to clear my head figuring this out, so of course I went down to the gym, you know. Test the limits of this new, awesome bod I have, all for research purposes." He grinned, bouncing his huge pecs.

"I know, I spotted you flexing and posing for like, ten minutes before I went back to work," Judy interrupted.

"All for research, Carrots! Test how flexible I still am, you know? I mean, look at all this meat—" He raised one arm over his head, bicep pressed against his cheek as he left room for his mammoth flanks to flare out like a sail under full wind. "You wouldn't think this much mass would be this flexible, but—"

"Nick."

The hulking fox relaxed his stance. "Sorry, sorry. Anyways, I got to thinking about who might have been missing since the Christmas party— you know, see who that big guy I saw in the locker room with the red stuff might have been. And then I realized, McHorn— we haven't seen him since a little after Thanksgiving."

"But we ruled him out because he's been on a leave of absence— he's not even in the country right now." Judy said.

"That's only an excuse— See, I got to thinking. Whoever else took this stuff shouldn't be that hard to find. I mean, with a rockin' bod like this, you've gotta be flaunting it somewhere, you know? Look at how I can all these bad boys dance—" He grunted, making his pecs bounce in rhythm, rolling his waist so his abs rippled and bulged.

"Nick Wilde." Judy leapt atop his chest, reaching out to grab him by the cheeks. "Please, just get to the point!"

"Okay! Okay…" He smirked, lifting the rabbit off him with one hand. "Boy, you're getting handsy, Carrots. But, I started looking for trending videos— especially of any big guys, you know? Bodybuilding. I found McHorn, alright— he's got a whole alias on OnlyClaws, making loads off his flexing videos, going by the name Magnus."

"Where was I during all this?" Judy demanded.

"Well…" the fox spread his hands. "Some things you just want to do yourself, you know? I looked over his comments, and there was one guy who was commenting on every single video— I tracked it down to Weaselton."

"Weaselton?" Judy asked incredulously.

"I… May have approached him with some of the evidence. I may have thrown my new weight around, and I may have pinned him against the wall with just my chest, and I may have bought another sample— you know. Just to make sure it was the real deal." Nick said.

The rabbit stared at him, mouth agape. "And you… drank it last night?"

"You betcha, Carrots! I mean, come on— I had to be thorough, right?"

The rabbit began pacing across the room. "Nick, what were you thinking?! We gotta go after him, we need to take him in, we need to put a stop to this! I mean— how do you know he hasn't already skipped out of town?"

"Oh, he wouldn't do that!" Nick waved off Judy's concerns. "We set up a meeting later today… You know. Third time's the charm and everything."

The rabbit glared up at her massive partner, shaking her head fiercely as she stamped the ground. "No— No, Nick! Absolutely not. This is going too far, this is breaking the rules, this is…. uh…" She cleared her throat. "What're you doing?"

Nick had taken a few, deliberate, stomping steps towards her, his massive stride emphasized by the blown out dimensions of his legs, eclipsing the rabbit entirely. Gently, but still with a solid enough grip to bend steel, he picked her up, pressing the rabbit against the wall with his heaving chest alone. "I had him just like this, Carrots— and I gotta tell you, it felt pretty good. You comfy?"

"I… Nick, this is ridiculous, you…" Judy trailed off, looking around at the vast amount of brawn filling her field of view.

"Think of this as… a fresh start. New Year, new me, right?" Nick curled one massive arm, his bicep filling up so much space, the split peak of that boulder of beef pushing his engorged forearm aside. "So… let's just… continue the research, huh? I mean. We don't even really know if any crime's actually been committed yet, right? We don't really know what's in that stuff, and we don't know if it's illegal— but we can see the results. And who's gonna argue with this, right?" He flexed his pecs, the sheer wave of muscle pressing in on Judy before he eased his grip.

Judy huffed, her foot thumping the floor as she dropped back down to earth. "I… hoo… We should… still go find Weaselton. I have a few questions for him, all the same."

"Ask away— but… Why don't we try getting to the bottom of the case my way, huh?" Nick curled his arm again, patting down that swollen mound of muscle. "I'm thinking we'll need to do a lot of thorough research. We might really need to get hands-on for it. Muscle our way through, you know?"

"I get it, you big, dumb fox," Judy scoffed, blushing brightly. "Just… don't get too carried away, alright? I don't need you bench-pressing the station or anything."

Nick let out a small chuckle, his whole body rumbling and already tensed and primed for another shot. "Well— I do still need to make a New Year's Resolution…"

Wow, Nick looks totally indestructible.

I love how Nick canonically lives under a gym for elephants so for your story it would make sense for Nick to lift with the big weights too
