Wednesday- Star Trek V (1989) I see why this is loved and hated! Some BOLD themes! I think I was in a perfectl whacky mood for it though! But, I am always in the mood for Star Trek! Maybe I'll drop this one earlier than Wednesday thou.. hehehe
AFI Friday- Swing Time(1936) I will be watching today!!! So no spoilers!
Saturday- Poll Winner Dances With Wolves (1990) I haven't watched this yet! I'm excited for this seemingly epic film!!!

I might jump on a live later today, or sometime this week to just hang out!! Maybe try my game again! LMAO So it will prob be a surprise!

2024-11-12 02:03:16 +0000 UTCWow, that's saying a lot. Based on your comment, I will do a first watch of Swing Time w/Ames' reaction. Singin’ In The Rain (talented actors, entertaining) is the only musical that I like. I like play musicals in person but not movie musicals.

Although its probably the weakest Trek it's by no means the worst movie ever made the way some folk talk about it and it does have a couple of redeeming qualities. More importantly it's worth the effort to get through it and on to ST6 which absolutely fuckin' slaps.

If not for an unfortunate black face number, it is a perfect film. The music is sublime! This is monumental! Thank you Ames!!!!

2024-11-11 20:01:53 +0000 UTCThe way I look at Star Trek 5, is it's a very weak story, however, it's always great to see these characters and actors back on screen together! On the plus side, onto the phenomenal Star Trek 6!

2024-11-11 19:57:41 +0000 UTCWell well well, Star Trek is back on track. V is the weakest of the 6, however if you view it as a long TOS episode it isn't too bad. The concept was interesting. Plus some nice character moments in there.

I still never saw Star Trek V, looking forward to seeing where I land on that one (and you as well!). Good luck today with Swing Time! (and Dances With Wolfies!)
