August Story Poll

Alright! Time for the August Story Poll to get up and running. Honestly, I meant to do it yesterday, but I got on a bit of a roll with the upcoming Halfway Broken update and didn't get to it. That update is coming along very nicely. I'm about 7,800 words into it already and I'm quite pleased with how the biggest twist of the whole thing has come along.

Now as for this month's poll! Since Pandora's Box got an update, it's lost its bonus, making this another potentially close one. Pokemon Adventure now has a 50% boost, which might just give it the edge it needs, though Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams now has a 30% boost going for it as well! Likewise, while it isn't boosted (yet), My Hero Automata preformed solidly in the last poll, so it's got a solid shot of its own. Particularly if people are interested in A2 and the two Operator Androids ;-). Which were a twist no one knew about just yet when the polling started up last time.

My Hero Automata

Forge 1 is now Operational, with Izumi, Momo and 2B have begun producing Nier Androids. With an elite unit of combat androids forming up to help, along with the push of far more new Shieldmaidens onto the African Front, will the good guys and gals start the turn of the tide against the invaders? Meanwhile, 'the Enemy get's a say too' remains a truism of warfare, and Izumi and Momo find themselves pulled off of working on Refinery 1 as a desperate call for help comes from a very unexpected source.

Why Was There No Truck?!

Alyssa has successfully pulled off two major operations in Gotham, along with making her presence felt in day, causing unease in the city's criminals. In the days following her elimination of the bulk of the Neon Dragon Triad, clean up operations to sweep away the rest have her meeting some of the local vigilantes for the first time, including a certain Redhead that managed to find her before her Emo-Furry boss did. Meanwhile, not all of the foreign groups, who are starting to realize they might be 'Star Knight's' primary target, are content to let her strike first. Given that she's been making herself a very public target in the daytime, her peaceful patrols can't last forever...

Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams (Current Boost +30%)

After some time swimming through the headache of learning to 'speak' Rachni, a new target is revealed as Saren reveals a major Geth presence in the Terminus. Where other people might be confused about the fact those Geth are playing archeologist in a clumsy fashion, they has some idea what the Geth are looking for. The team needs to decide who will go try to slow down that effort...and who will, instead, attempt to use the partially working Eden Prime beacon as its own lead. Does anyone the number of the Prothean Empire's IT department?

A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure (Current Boost +50%)

2B and Zoey have had their first misadventure! Or, well, they are part way through it, at least! After all, they only got as far as Diglett's cave inside Viridian Forest. Since the Forest is still stirred up, they need to make a choice. Risk traveling the Forest to Pewter, wait for the Rangers to evacuate, training and battling with a few of the others around while that's organized, or head through Diglett's tunnel for a very unexpected detour to 2B's planned route for the Gyms! If this story wins, I'll run a second snap poll (meaning only 5-7 days long) with some pluses and minuses for each option, letting you lot pick which option they should take!

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box

With Harry's second year of Hogwarts starting, Harry's options for projects have really opened up with his new access to runes! Of course, there's also a threat coming to Hogwarts he's been warned of due to a crazy House Elf, and hormones are increasingly distracting as several of the girls in his immediate sphere got hit with their own puberty stick! Harry has to balance his goals, being a teenager with attractive female friends, and an unknown danger that might be coming for him specifically...
