Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams 11-14
Added 2025-05-08 19:46:38 +0000 UTCMawhahahahaah, at long last, we have an update for Eridium Dreams! The update, as it happens, is just over 14,100 words. A little short of the typical 15k target. In this case, I'm afraid that's because I needed to do a complete reread of everything that already existed, since it had been so long since this got updated.
That said, I also made a lot of corrections and some minor additions/adjustments as I went, so the master file is cleaner and the overall writing quality a bit better in places. Hopefully that makes up for it being slightly on the smaller side. If it doesn't? Well...I also got a the story's first lemon into chapter 14 ;-). So maybe that will help instead. Particularly as I went more in-depth on it than I do with most lemons these days...
Anyway, as always, the new chapters are attached here in various formats. While you can find the Master Files containing the entire story in the Pinned Post. I will also be doing some Author's Notes in the comments shortly. Enjoy!

As for Final Error...fair warning, that fic is waaaaaaaayyyyy more smut-oriented than any of the other stories. It was mostly written before any of the other fics, as a reward for a different Patreon page of mine that was much more adult-content oriented. It still has a solid underlying story, but expect lemons every 5-7,000 words :-p.

I love this story's whole premise, and I especially love that it's one of the few ME stories I've found that isn't an inspired inventor fic or one that just adds an OC crew member who barely changes anything. This might be my favorite story you have simply from the base idea and how wildly different everything should be from canon's rails if it ever gets to finish. I hope with this update it gets a better chance at winning some of the polls, but either way I'm looking forward to whenever it gets it's next chance to update. Now I'm gonna go check out your Final Error fic that I've somehow missed.

2025-05-11 19:02:15 +0000 UTCChapter 11: A/N 1: Head spinning from the changes yet? With Benezia the Councilor instead of an accomplice of Saren, of course her only daughter has security for days. Meaning Therum was never going to go the same way. Assuming that Nihlus even knew about Liara, since it was presumably Bezzy that provided the details under mind control in ME:1. A/N 2: The details about the Asari Republics are either outright canon, or very minor extensions of such. I find it a bit tragic that the genuinely interesting societies the writers provided for the various races (in true Bioware background writing glory) are never really explored properly. I really, really hate that they have such an amazing universe and keep telling every story from boring old humanity's perspective. Seriously, give us a ME game with an Asari protagonist please!
