Today, The ILANDERS will be performing the Chemistry test! Which we don’t know much about it, so we are excited to see what this test consists of!
In the last episode we had our first iland elimination, Geonu and we’re assuming after the chemistry test another trainee will be sent home we are curious to find out who it will be… Things are getting so tense because we genuinely care for everyone in the ILAND, so its getting more emotionally difficult.

Flicker is my favorite performance from I-land. It was so good that I kept replaying it even after the show ended! Also, K, Heesung, and Sunno were my favorites in I-land.

2024-07-29 04:44:33 +0000 UTChey familia missed you guys💜 am finally back after my hectic week of work😌 so geonu was a talented vocalist but performance or stage presence wise he lacked..! but still I dare say he was better than taki and his elimination was unfair!!! I absolutely love heesung he is such a sweetheart but sometimes he needs to speak up honestly cause if he would’ve got the part he wanted he could’ve won, but that hopefully helped him to grow more!! Jake being a trainee of only a few months and yet his determination and hard work helped him honestly!! and yeah so damn excited for next episode like wow I didn’t stan seventeen then and barely knew their faces but looking at this now and recognising all of them and knowing that it’s the performance unit like wow I have come a long way of not knowing them to being a cubic and now a baby carat lmao

I feel bad for him because I think he's objectively got the talent, the drive, and the charisma to be one of the top guys there but he's been kind of iced out because he's got a strong voice. He's taking a lot of really unfair Ls and I love that he just keeps backing himself and working his butt off. He's got the goods as far as I'm concerned.

2024-07-28 05:09:25 +0000 UTCI've got to say, I'm kind of Team K here. I don't know why it was just assumed that Heeseung was the leader of the group. He won the right to /pick/ his team--not lead it. And, as far as they showed, they never discussed Heeseung being the leader or the Center. K is experienced and professional and more than welcome to share his ideas about the group performance and it's unfortunate the other guys didn't feel like they could voice their opinion, too. I don't think K was aware that they were suppressing their opinions or feeling some type of way and, in this kind of environment, it can be hard to tell. Also, K is the eldest and he's Japanese. His Korean isn't fluent, his age automatically creates barriers, there are cultural differences at play...he's doing his best to be kind and supportive and a good hyung (trying to lead by example and also keep people on task). And I think the other guys have demonstrated a pattern of being non-confrontational to a fault. I talked about this in an earlier comment, but I think that cultural trait (being non-confrontational) is why Yoongi and Bang PD are known to say, "you have to fight with each other to build your teamwork." I'm glad the boys finally talked about how they were feeling but I don't think K did anything wrong. I think the show had a narrative for K that they started working on the second half of the show and I just don't buy it. I think K handled himself very well and I hope the other guys have learned how to share their opinions when they disagree with someone else's ideas.

2024-07-28 04:21:49 +0000 UTCAnswering your question about geonu, I think after watching this show multiple times now I definitely understand the producers choice of him being 11, he was just not there in the performance unfortunately Fake love team won and TAKI was safe. The K situation had very mixed opinions when it was released as he was one of the fans favorite and a lot of people thought this was just Mnet evil editing. As a said, watching this multiple times now I can clearly see how his attitude was a bit overwhelming. Age means hierarchy in Asian countries so I do understand heeseungs and the others thoughts about how to speak to K. It’s the first time I really catch in properly translations what K said to heeseung, and wow that’s very harsh, if I’m not wrong K and Niki did talked in episode 1 about heeseung and how they were better dancers than him, but personally heeseung always has been such a great guy and so humble to his peers, I think he really didn’t deserve anything that did happened to him in the show.

2024-07-28 03:52:19 +0000 UTCtheres a lot of mixed opinions on k and his time on iland; i think it mainly stems around the fact that he was the oldest member so when he pushed for his opinions the other members felt like they were uncomfortable with disagreeing with him. i was actually really happy with how he handled the confrontation. he took a second to step away and compose himself when he was overwhelmed with emotion and once he felt calmer, apologized to the group. i think he genuinely didnt realize the effect he was having on the group. it also helps that a couple enhypen members have mentioned that mnet definitely edited a lot of the scenes to create more tension when it actually wasnt that bad or serious lol. mnet really took the evil editing farther for k in the second half of this iland season

2024-07-28 03:44:55 +0000 UTCI remember first watching this and being glad to see K just take the criticism and apologise for bringing down the overall team atmosphere. I think he was surprised to hear that he was actively making others feel bad since he seems like he compartmentalises the things they have to do for the show and how they interact outside of that. Still, sometimes you need a good telling off to shock you out of bad habits and the boys were all very polite but clear with their critique so I was very proud of them! It was definitely needed to and it would’ve been worse to let this issue sit further into the show. I think Heeseung has good leader traits even though I don’t think he likes telling people what to do even if he definitely can take control if he has to. He’s very reliable and I find his overall attitude very admirable. Well spoken and gentle and willing to step in to share his strengths. K is very honest and straightforward but like I said last time, he needs to recognise the effect his bluntness could have on others. He and Jay are both very comfortable always putting forward their views and opinions forward but he needs to know that the others are comfortable pushing back against Jay but can’t do the same for him as he’s a lot older so he should find a way to change his phrasing or maybe wait to express his views to foster a better team environment. If he wasn’t aware before, he definitely should be now so hopefully it’s smooth or smoother sailing 😂 Also, I remain very impressed with Jungwon’s mental fortitude even as one of the younger members of the show, it seemed like all the members of the Flicker Unit were outwardly uncomfortable confronting K but he always seems so calm 😂😂 It was nice to see the boys have a day out too, I understand it was a reward but I wish they took them all out for a sports day or something - being stuck in this silly egg surely cannot be good for you 😂

Though I've already watched I-Land before and it's my second time watching with you, Geonu never caught my eyes then and now. He may have talents, but I think he lacks a certain charm that is crucial to being an idol. Everyone has talents and everyone looks decent enough to be an idol though some are more attractive in their own ways but not everyone has that charm that would hook you and get you interested in watching every step of their journey. Sadly, and in my own personal preference, Geonu lacks that idol charm and also has been stagnant. He has no improvements. But I do know that sometimes things like this can be a blessing in disguise. He had a once in a lifetime experience of being a part of I-Land and he can move forward to becoming better, especially because he already knows what he needs to improve on. Who knows, maybe he can debut after some time when the time is right for him.

2024-07-28 01:41:18 +0000 UTCi’m not even engene (still a big fan though) but the way i’ve been binge watching en o’clock (enhypen’s version of run bts) for the past week and now i have to force myself back into the mindset of not knowing who’s gonna debut 😭 the emotional toll it takes on them is crazy but also on me when i see my favs stressing and getting harsh feedback ahhhh i can’t wait to get to ep 12 with you guys and hopefully more enhypen content <3 and also to finally let you know my bias and find out yours hehe also i have so much to say about a certain i-lander but i won’t because it’s nothing nice 🤐😁 all i can say is i’m a heeseung defender before i’m human 🤺
