Hello familia! Hope you're having a lovely Sunday! π
So many things happened in this episode that it's hard to write down all the memorable moments lol. Guess we can start with JK driving the huge SUV so well, like are we sure he is the baby of BTS? ππππ I mean I want to see us try to park an SUV in one parking spot... yeah not going to happen.
Jimin and JK trying to figure out how to wear the headband the way SUGA does was so funny and adorable at the same time. π©
When BTS arrives at the grocery store Tae soon realizes he didn't need to pack extra Ramyeon because there were plenty available at the store. But we still appreciate the thoughtfulness. π As BTS walks out of the grocery store they are surprised by JK's new hairdo lol.
It was really cool that this episode showed Hoseok filming his legendary CNS challenge, we remember watching that video all over the media. Tae was so excited for Hoseok that he even gave CNS a try and he seems to have gotten it down with one try! π
When BTS finally arrives at the location where they will be staying, they are nicely greeted by two dogs. Although all the rooms look the same BTS still decides to play a game to determine the order in which they choose their rooms lol. They end of the night with some drinks, a warming conversation, and a plan to wake up early for a walk. π
The next morning JK decides to wake up extra early, climb the mountain, and bring back a big ball of ice to show it off to the rest of the members. π€£ They were as impressed as us like, "you got that from all the way up there!"
What a fun episode! We can't wait to see what kind of activities they get into on their second day in New Zealand. LET'S GET IT!

I didnt notice untill I saw a cars headlight coming towards me, it definitley takes adjustment. I visit my family over there once every 1-2 years and it still takes me time and hard thinking everytime I drive hahaha Its quite nerve wracking

2020-06-11 19:45:46 +0000 UTCDunno if anyone else has mentioned it, but the reason they all went "DINGDONG!!!" at the restaurant is because, in Korea, when you go to a restaurant, every table is equipped with a bell you ding for service, rather than flagging down a waiter/tress or hoping to get noticed. It also makes it so they don't have to constantly disturb your meal to see if you need anything. - Doenjang - brown fermented soybean paste - it's salty, funky, and is a stronger version of Japanese miso (I use this comparison since more people are familiar with miso soup internationally) - it is often used as a base for soups - Gochujang - red pepper paste made with dried ripened Korean peppers - it is spicy, and is often used as a flavoring/spice for soup, sauce, and marinade bases - Ssamjang - mix of 2 parts doenjang and 1 part gochujang, with garlic, ginger, sugar, and sesame oil, and used as a dip for various meats, veggies, and lettuce wraps - different ratios/additional ingredients based on region/preference - every Korean household has both doenjang and gochujang as they are the base ingredients of the majority of Korean cuisine Flat White - espresso base with steamed milk (as opposed to a latte, which is steamed milk base with espresso) - Koreans tend to order lots of iced Americanos or flat whites as their coffees of choice The most commonly eaten and well-known kimchi (and what you usually see the boys buying when abroad) is cabbage kimchi. There are many different types of kimchi using different vegetables, and just within the cabbage kimchi arena, there are various types based on regions. MOST cabbage kimchi will have some sort of fish/shrimp sauce used to make it, but there are also some that have the actual fish, like raw shrimp or even raw oysters, tucked inside. Just keep an eye on the ingredients when you go to buy, and you should be fine. (As a tip for new kimchi eaters - raw kimchi has a very strong and somewhat intimidating scent and flavor. Giving it a slight cook in a saute pan mellows it out and gently introduces you to the world of kimchi. Also, the flavors vastly differ based on the age of the kimchi. Some people love it fresh, some prefer it well aged. Personally, I love it aged just to the point of inedible, where a day or two more, and it would have to be made into soup. But the more aged a kimchi gets, the more sour the flavors.) Kimchi is in the blood of most Koreans. We can't go too long without eating it. When I first moved to the US, I remember my mother would have to have kimchi with every meal, even American meals, to acclimate.

He can rap like 21 or 22 syllables per second. He's really good, and honestly it's a really good song. You should check it out in your own time if you're interested.

Remember the given word that time was carbonara and jimin passed it on as "lachimolala", that's why they asked him if he can tell them something about carbonara. Hahahahahhh. What's funny is "lachimolala" for sure became an insider meme to armys, but during this episode we found out that it became a meme for them as well. HAHAHAHh. They gonna be saying it again in a future episode so you can look forward to it. Hahahahh

Yes, Jungkook kept wearing one glove on that season cause of his tattoo. Also, you will notice that he's gonna wear anything to hide his tattoo. There are two rooms that they used in that accommodation. Their brand is actually Mediheal. While watching this, I keep thinking of Jungkook cause of his message at the end of the season. However, this season is really really really great. I love this season.

2020-06-08 09:06:44 +0000 UTCSeason 4 is one of my favourite bon voyages and you can tell that the members were happy in a way that is very rare for them and they seemed much happier compared to other seasons. Not that they didn't enjoy the other trips but because they were pretty much isolated in New Zealand so they had more freedom to be themselves and enjoy each others company. Also the reason why jungkook is wearing a glove is because this is when he got his tattoos and because of broadcasting rules in Korea he has to cover them up. So you will see him wear gloves and long sleeves a lot and there will be times when the editors will even blur his tattoos out.

Also I don't think jimin was being sassy when he told jk that he was like that dog. It's because jungkook said that that dog was so awesome herding all the sheep so jimin told him it looks like him. Also when they tell jimin to explain carbonara, they meant the largemolala meme from run bts.

He was going through some issues at the time and youβll hear him talk about it in the interviews on the last episode. Itβs sad to know that he was holding back cause things were weighing on him at the time... and youβll see him cover his tattoos with multiple things during this season lol, he has to cause of broadcasting reasons. Even in the future when they perform on music shows and stuff his hand will either be covered up with makeup, long sleeve shirts or gloves.

And the rest is a mix from around the world. Food is very multicultural here. I would say, middle aged and older white people will have a lot of meat and potato. Younger people eat mixes of food from around the world. Personally I mostly live on rice and noodles
